Nzogbia has underperformed for two seasons if we are getting 6mil plus a utility player(boosts squad size) its a great deal. He is a waste of space. Taylor for all his faults or not appears to be a steady player who can fill in where needed. We need at least one or two like this. However we now need to spend the nzog and given money on some classy midfielder/strikers. Even lee naylor for backup at left back would be a good signing. By my reckoning we have spent 4 on nolan have lovenkrands for free are getting 6 for nzogbia for a player so we are 2 mil to the good already with more players than we started with. That means kinnear should still have 12mil plus whatever we get for given. There is absolutely no excuses from the club if he can't buy players now. JFK did say he had any money from sales plus ten mil thats more than enough to improve us and move us away from this shit. One more centre mid to play alongside nolan and we could look a different team. We could also get a right mid(which we need)

I don't think there is any point replacing joe whilst we still have this shower of shite players and owner there. No manager will improve us at this rate. We need intelligent midfielders and players having a go to try and win the game and a bit of luck. I still think if we get 2 midfielders and poss striker now we will look a lot better than at present. 1 or two centre midds who can move, pass and track back or one and a right winger would do us. If Given and nzog are gone(and they are they are not fucking injured) then that should bring about 16 mil, add to the 10 joe apparently has and I would just give in on this club if we did not attempt to spend all 26 mill in next few days to get some class in there

Just replace butt and get a right mid and we would be fine. Our mid lacks movement and organisation as a result we dont defend or attack as a team and owen and martins etc have to come deep to get the ball

I won't cry if owen leaves he is overpaid and not what we need at the moment in my opinion. His wages could fund two - three up and coming stars who would no doubt put more effort in and we would end up with more goals as a result of that. Yes owen is a goalscorer and has a good record but a fair few of his goals have been consolation goals and apart from scoring(which means a lot I know) he does very little in games and has no effect against a lot of teams. Something you would expect for a 17mil striker on 100+ grand a week like he should be fucking running games

Geremi - Free, Viduka - Free and Smith 6 mil hardly backing exactly. Fair enough their wages like and I agree all three should be up for sale I would take anything for geremi just to get him off the wage bill, viduka should be sold now and if everton or boro want smith then take their hands off

While I think shepherd is a fat mess who was screwing our club over. He has some valid points about ashley/kinnear saying ashley should have checked the club out so can't complain, and the club will still owe 100mil anyway(unless this is part of the 240mil he wants) Fat Sam and Keegan would have been asking all the time to get players so the squad depth is not there problem really. Yes bad players have been bought and sam getting us viduka, smith and fucking geremi have screwed us but ashley and the cunt lambas have a lot to answer for they did not back sam, keegan or kinnear now and obvously do not see what we all se, we are going down and thats the stark reality unless something is done quick because our bunch of "players" if thats what you would call them(some exceptions of course) don't have an ounce of fight in them and just want to pick up 60 - 100 grand a week for minimal effort and sub average performances. I would much prefer the andy carrols, bartons, bassongs and guthries of this world to people like owen, duff, butt and nzogbia as the first four mentioned actually seem to give a shit if we lose
