I don't think Hanley or Lazaar are that big a problem compared to Colback, Saivet, Riviere, Mitro? and maybe De Jong. Out of that I would only keep De Jong. For every Lazaar and Hanley we have signed Ritchie, Gayle, Clark and Hayden who I would consider a success. We may end up with 1 or 2 shit players from Murphy, Lejuene, Manquillo and Atsu with Manquillo and Atsu the likely 2 to fail this season imho. We should probably offload Diame as well. We need at least 4-5 more players and at least Striker, Centre Mid and Attacking Mid

While it's worrying we are losing local players, it's understandable why the kid would think Everton are a better bet right now. He would be waiting until he's 22 at least to play for us judging by past efforts. What has happened to Cal Roberts, When does longstaff get a chance, what's the point in Tom Heardman. Now Rafa may have plans and ideas but a young kid and family probably think Everton are aiming higher and will bring young players through. On another hand 6m is a lot of money for a 16 year old, so not surprised the club have accepted it for an untried talent

Aye, much better buying big names like Wijnaldum and Sissoko. I take your point but Manquillo and Clucas sound like relegation battle names. We need to aim higher, hoping Murphy is a decent signing and he seems to have a bit about him but not convinced at all with others. Murphy prefers to play RM so it'll be interesting to see what happens with him and Ritchie. Decent pace with him, Aarons and Atsu, with Ritchie offering a bit intelligence. Not sure how Ojo would fit in as well, not sure we need 5 wingers
