Not only that but if she did happen to walk out we'd take her back home on the bus instead of a taxi. Or as she thinks she's about to walk home I follow her from distance, monitoring her wetness for an hour, pondering to walk up to her to talk. Then I finally do it, she sounds excited and interested and offers to split a cab to go home with her but I hesitate and start haggling with me only willing to pay for the starting fee. Then a couple of Turkish guys comes up and she goes with them to Fenerbache. Or she's incredibly scared that you have followed her for that long and then speed up and approach her. Fucking creepy tbf

Mark Douglas said on talksport earlier that wages were the issue and not necessarily capital to buy. Suggests we may be close to wages / turnover ? And need to reduce that to bring more on? While I don't doubt there's truth in there somewhere around him being dicked about, I still have confidence we will sign a few decent players

Yup. It might be "boring and functional" to some, but at least we get to watch a group of players who know what they are doing. The possession patterns and the movement off the ball when we don't have it is very good to see compared to the clueless crap we've been served up for the past 10 odd years. I don't think it's boring at all, it's quite refreshing to see us with a plan, closing down, working the opposition, patient passing, using wings effectively and creating patterns of play. I have watched first half from yesterday and despite quality of opposition we look in really good shape thankfully. Whether we have enough quality will soon be tested I suppose. Maybe need 2-3 more players

Maybe we should get Gok Wan round to see him

Think we will win 2-1, Don't think we are in bad shape and think the players will be out to impress first game. Going to be interesting to see how well set we are for the season. The squad is quite balanced and we actually have the look of a balanced team with a plan. Relies heavily on Shelvey, Gayle and that back 4 to give us a chance

Joselu, we might start monitoring you Joselu, we are preparing a bid for you Joselu, we were never interested in you Joselu, Would they take Donnay socks for you

Lower league shit. Hope to fuck we don't end up back there

Norwich, Wednesday, and Leeds all in the league next, Hull in September as well. Ah, remember when we were in that league. Nice at first and horrific once you realised there were still 30 games left of it in may. We only played 1 game in May. I know, it just felt like we played about 30 a week. Good league until new year and then it drags on

Maddening. I can't remember the last time we tried to outplay the opposition, or attack for that matter prior to Rafa. We just did nothing. Have these people not even watched any of our games. We literally just made up the numbers for years and years. As for attacking football, I am happy to just be balanced and not get hammered all the time

Pre-Season 2018/19: Newcastle United 0 - 1 FC Augsburg (FT)

Watching today it's clear a decent attacking midfielder and striker would lift is a few levels. We can create chances and have decent passing players with good pace on wings but need that link up man and a alternative to Gayle if we don't want a relegation battle. I think we look a lot more balanced than the last time we were up and certainly stronger on wings and in defence, we are a lot more physical and actually have height within the team compared to our previous midfield and centre halves. I would love a left back as well, because Dummet is looking shocking -
Na, we will sign at least 3 with a Keeper and Striker.
-
For some unknown reason I am reasonably confident we will sign a few decent players and the new lads will turn out decent. I'm even thinking we may have a reasonable and respectable season.

It'll cost someone a lot of blowies that's for sure #daretocream

You mean babies? I was thinking that when I saw it [emoji3]

I mean wow, they are really going for it. Mid table at best for these

Aye the likes of Riviere, Good and Haidara we should just let them go for free if necessary as long as we don't have to pay them off as obviously that would clear a big chunk off the wage bill. The example given was Colback above but I doubt we have even put him up for sale, I think Rafa likes him in his squad, or serves a purpose in his mind at this time.
-
Colback features in say 15 league games (as part of a rotation, or due to injury/s) that will cost us points. I prefer to look at the prizemoney situation for where the team finishes how much £ is lost with each position the team slips - due to the Colback Factor. Always maintained that the immediate blow to Ashley's precious balance sheets, by paying off Colback's contract and releasing him, would be offset & partially absorbed by a higher league placing and associated increase in prize money. But Rafa could just banish them to the academy / farm out on loan rather than pay them all up in one big chunk. Paying them off does not help us but players, we need them off the wage bill and I guess it reduces opex costs but I don't know how it's spread if we agree to pay up or if it's all out of capex which is probably an issue for us at the moment

Is this the new SNWOAT thread ? Being offered blowies for players signing, women's deodorant and sticky pages it's gone very modern all of a sudden

Is he better that Mitrovic, Riviere and Murphy?

They tried to ask Darren/Darron but he was still p*ssed as a fart like He just said "do what ya like pal"
