Really like this guy so far.

I remember how Di Natale scored just almost immediately after he was subbed in for Balotelli in our group game against Italy. Balo had been shocking. Really, the ratio of bad to good games I have seen from Balotelli doesn't suggest me he's worth the hassle. Pretty much how I see it.
-
Was Balo really that good in the Euro's other than the two goals against Germany? I didn't think he contributed a great deal in the games, and thought Di Natale looked much busier in general throughout the tournament.

Must say from what I've seen of Balotelli, I'm in the over rated camp. Can't say I've seen much to suggest he is or could be a superstar. A good player, yeah, but not a superstar. His decision making looks suspect to me. He also tries tricks and flicks far too often, and I actually don't think I've ever seen him successfully pull one off.

Oldham have some ugly ass fans

I laughed at that, one shot and he's an inspiration.

So now I remember what it's like to look forward to us playing again! Can't wait until Tuesday, let's just hope the players have been trolling the board in an effort to get new players in and we just switch it on from the off

That's quite scary Edit: Re: Pilko.

Don't be stupid! He's not French.

Ashley out after he fails to land a player!

Can someone click the "Confirm" button on this please.

Just me that thinks that Tiote's crossing is decent?! He can swing a ball in with pace better than most that have been playing regularly this season (not saying much).
-
I really hope that he can get back to the form he's capable of. He had a fairly disrupted season last year with injuries and suspensions but he still played well for the most part (albeit not to the levels of the first season), but he has clearly been off form this year, like many of our players. He was also injured early on so his season has again been disrupted. Given that he's arguably had 2 decent seasons and half a poor season, I find it a little disappointing that people are seemingly happy to see him leave. At the top of his game he is an absolute machine, and I'm not giving up on him yet. That Tiote would still walk into my first choice 11 even with the players we've signed.

He's not going to know half the squad when he gets back

Gaël Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis
Lenny replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
We actually have as close to like for like replacements as we're likely to realistically get with what we have now (Sissoko-Tiote, Anita-Bigi, Cabaye-Marv), so unless any of them go, or others come in, I wouldn't have him going anywhere on loan. -
Must say, this transfer broke me. Given every ounce of shit that this season has been, we really needed it to go through heading into the Reading game, but this past week has been something else I just wish we weren't in such deep shit that we could enjoy it from the off. Of course I'm excited about seeing them all playing, but first and foremost, we need to clean up our mess on the pitch.

Buying too many players Be happy ffs. I am. Reading the just the first line does't make sense obviously. It's more about the quality vs. quantity that I was on about. I hope we've done a really good job here and I think that Sissoko will be a great player. (He's the only one I really know of the ones we've bought now.) Well I can't comment on Gouffran and Haidara, but Debuchy, Mbiwa and Sissoko have come here with very good reputations, which is extremely promising. Three top quality additions to a first team in January is absolutely fantastic.

Ashley really must have shit himself after the Reading game

I honestly don't know anything about him, but going by the comments in here it sounds like he will improve our first team.
