  1. I mean, we're not good but the manager should be getting more out of these players.
  2. Joelinton deciding to sit and wave his arms rather than get up and contest the ball literally right next to him.
  3. Bentaleb is either not fit enough or not good enough. He's making relegation season Kevin Nolan look sharp AF.
  4. Totally deserved result. Average first half, appalling second half.
  5. He played well in the first half and stopped Sako numeorus times. Gets done by him once and now everyone is lamenting that he's not good. Like a bunch of little kids man. So cringe worthy I'm sure most are capable of identifying that he's been pretty good this game (at least prior to us falling asleep), but equally was at fault for their goals. I'm more concerned with why we've come out so deep this half and can't get the ball at all. That is more of the issue really. The need to pin every issue on a scapegoat is hilarious to me. We've come out half asleep after the half and look clueless. I don't really think we're looking for a scapegoat when a player is making noticeable, individual mistakes that cost us goals. You can cut him slack since he's not a natural defender, new to the system, and largely played the role well until the goals, but he still made the mistakes and people are surely within their rights to point it out ("he's shit" comments excluded of course). He has a ton of experience playing at wing back. It's too easy to just say he can't defend based on one game man. It's the same nonsense that was being said about Willems after one game. Our team is shit and it causes us issues every game. That is the problem. We should have really just got a defensive right back and played him on that side and asked him not to go forward. Similar to what Rose is doing on the left today. Then everyone can sit in the box and never make mistakes so we draw every game as we all die a slow death watching this horrific football. How many people on here, worth paying attention to, have actually said that he's shit because he made mistakes for the goals? He made mistakes, which were rightly pointed out. You're either getting wound up by posters that aren't worth investing your time in or you are incapable of seeing that making mistakes and playing well aren't mutual inverses. Sometimes both can happen, and it did today with Lazzaro.
  6. That touch from Joelinton was pathetic.
  7. When Hayden is your best central midfielder you know there is a problem.

  9. But we dominated them in the first half...

  11. We think that because our players are doing things that they should comfortably do in this division we are playing well.
  12. I think we are the only side in the Premier who can make Arsenal look good these days. We also didn't dominate them. We've been conditioned to think that if we have the ball for anything over 30% of the game, it constitutes a dominate performance, when the reality is that it was broadly even. We've not created anything.
  13. Nope. He is on the outside. We are playing three centre backs. Fernandez has to be attacking that for me. Lazzaro actually did well to have come in that narrow. Err.. he's entirely accountable for both of their goals. Close to solely.
  14. Lazzaro has been destroyed the last few minutes.
  15. Fernandez has, on the whole, been very good for us.
  16. Almiron definitely needs to cut out the flop as he falls.
  17. Absolutely no reason why we can't beat these today; they are poor.
  18. I think I read somewhere that he's not planning on staying? Been a few articles in the last couple of days suggesting he's keen to stay, I believe. They say he's happy to have made the move. Nothing in them about staying on. Possibly the articles putting words into the readers.... minds, but the tone of the articles I've read were certainly that he'd be open to staying.
  19. It was a great run though, just needed some support. Absolutely. Love the guy but it's not nice to see a players first instinct when knowing they've lost the ball is to jump on the floor so blatantly.
