Manquillo definitely looks a lot more competent nowadays. I've had him down as one of our worst players pretty much all of his time with us, but that's certainly changed now. I can't recall being specifically frustrated with him this season.

Bournemouth have started to press a bit more.

ASM's dribbling is world class, and his end product seems to be improving.

As much as I like Schar and want to see him in the team; Lascelles and Fernandez are justifiably starting based on form, particularly Fernandez.

That shot was so slow from Shelvey that the crowd noise guy managed to perfectly sync up the collective groan from the crowd

TBF, I think his finishing this season has justifiably put his reputed main strength into question.

Is playing like that actually any better than having a go and losing by 5? I genuinely don't think I could have enjoyed that game much less, regardless of the score line.

It would have been unbelievably bittersweet to see any modicum of success garnered from the way we approach our games. Just dreadful.

Imagine being in the latter stages of a big cup, and you get told by your manager to go out there and actively not even try to win. Utterly piss poor. Thoroughly deserved loss.

I'm guessing it's more because his positioning has improved over the years, but Lascelles looks a fair bit faster now that he did in his early seasons for us.
