  1. Guess you might have the bandwidth but not the TV? Dunno. I have a 4K TV. What I mean is that, for example, The Man in the High Castle is listed twice on the menu, once for Standard/HD and once for 4K, sometimes separated and not always clear whether a 4K version even exists.
  2. Just used it to see the goal. Such a good feature. TBF their "Xray" feature is really cool. If you're watching a film or TV series and go to it, it shows who is in the scene you are watching. Really handy for someone like me that constantly looks people up on IMDB. Yeah but you can't seem to get episode no or synopsis like you can on other apps unless you switch out of the running episode. Unless I just haven't figured it out. I've not extensively used it TBH; it was an annoyance that kept showing up when I pressed Up on my remote until I realised what it was showing me. On the whole I'm not a fan of Prime's Video app/service setup (although it's very stable).
  3. If Amazon got rights to the number of games that Sky currently have then there's no way they wouldn't increase the cost of Prime, or offer a Football package add-on.
  4. Shame Prime's general layout is a bit shite. I find it a bit pointless that you have to specifically choose a 4k version of a show. It should just dynamically scale based on your setup and bandwidth.

  6. Now TV's spot on tbf. Now TV seems riddled with annoying bugs on my Samsung Smart TV. It's had long periods of being unusable.
  7. I assume Perez is a player that everyone considers and then just about cuts out of their first choice 11. At least that was my thought process.
  8. I like Fernandez, but picking him over Lascelles is a strange one.
  9. Dubravka Debuchy, Colo, Lejeune, Lascelles, Schar, Enrique Cabaye, Tiote HBA Ba
  10. They all run over to Fernandez like he scored it, too.

No chance Lascelles would stay if we went down. I expect he'll be wanting a move away at the end of the season whether we stay up or not. He seems an ambitious man and given that he's been with us a fair while, he surely must be thinking he's ready to move on. He's a very dependable premier league CB now, and could certainly be playing regularly for a team with a modicum of ambition.

    Joelinton

We could try doing that even with Joelinton. He clearly doesn't relish high balls winged at him from deep. Get the ball into his feet and see how he gets on. Problem is we don't have enough good possession to get the ball up the pitch where he should be operating. Absolutely. Try playing to his strengths.

But that'd require having some tactical nous to change things up. The three Steves of the apocalypse are devoid of said nous. Well yes, this is clearly the result of cascading levels of incompetence multiple levels above him.

    Joelinton

That's the point, he evidently no longer can be bothered. Bruce either needs to change something or drop him. Having a player that's not trying isn't acceptable, obviously.

I mean, if we don't have a target man, then don't play a formation that requires a fucking target man

^ Can you blame him? He doesn’t stand a chance in this position. You can't "not try", but I sympathise entirely.

From what I saw today he looked like he's going through the motions putting in minimal effort.
  18. ASM is literally the only player in the team with an "attack first" mentality. Such a negative, self-defeating team.

    Joelinton

He's playing like a defeated man at the moment. I sympathise with what's being expected of him, but if he's not trying he needs to be out of the team. From the 70-ish minutes I saw, he offered absolutely nothing and was constantly flat footed when the ball came near him.

Not saying he's a bad player, but this is a staggeringly bad signing for many reasons.
  21. About as predictable a performance and outcome as you could expect so far.
  22. Ah that early season realisation that you're in for another season of utter trash.
  23. This is in the "in isolation, I'm okay with this", category for me.
  24. Kaka does tend to get an inordinate amount of ridicule for being optimistic, mind, even if it is a bit sickly Not even like that optimism always turns out to be wrong either.
