  1. Silenzi, Corradi maybe even Borini, if you call him a striker, and dear old Casiraghi, who of course got badly injured before having chance to not struggle
  2. Had Coventry fans rave about him to me. They rate him in the same class as Arma.
  3. 16 games, but only one start and two sub appearances from the last seven matches, and no he isn't that good IMO. But he's still better than Townsend. You have to look at equivalents for the price and you think Allon went for 15m and Rodwell around the 10m mark unless he's had a major falling out we're not getting Shelvey on the cheap. It also seems unlikely his value will increase that much in years to come so it's surely a non starter. Allon [emoji1]
  4. Makes sense tbh. I think his training methods for corners came from there. Nah. Sea World have a porpoise.
  5. Cov sign Joe Cole and Peter Ramage.
  6. He sounds like West Brom's transport for overseas friendlies.
  7. 20. Was easy purely because the difficultish ones either involved Coventry or Newcastle.
  8. When he's at my gate with his big fat 8 fits both nob size discussion and Sammy Lee.
  9. Sammy Lee was the archetypal 8 in your eyes then Your method certainly works with him.
  10. Got the image of Derek Wright frantically taking notes on all of these new fangled methods he can use tomorrow. Leeches is his buzzword.
  11. The great Liverpool sides of the 80s had 4 and 6 at central defence and 5 in midfield whether it be Ray Kennedy, Ronnie Whelan or Craig Johnston.
  12. Hearing Hugh Johns commentate on the 66 final brings back memories of Sunday afternoons as a kid when he commentated in the Central area on Star Soccer for years. Different areas had different commentators. London had Brian Moore, East Anglia had Gerry Harrison, North West had Gerald Sinstadt, Yorkshire had Martin Tyler, Roger Tames did the North East after Kenneth Wolstenholme. Can't remember the South Coast one, might have been David Bobin. You'd get highlights of the game in your area followed by briefer highlights from around the country. It wasn't as good as Match of the Day but it was good Sunday afternoon fayre. Indeed when commercial television won the Saturday night contract in the early 80s, there was a public outcry and Match of the Day came back after a couple of years away.
  13. Martin Peters was some player like. Generally overlooked when discussing greatest England players.
  14. Only if its preceded by Rene van Der.

    I wouldn't mind Jethro tbh.
  16. Sadio Mane should go to Citeh seeing as he's named after their old ground.
  17. Hope he gets pneumonia added to a violent bout of dysentery the fucking prick.
  18. Terry McCann was captain.
  19. Interesting read that. Seems a decent bloke.
  20. You could select Arsenal Football Club full stop after their histrionics over 180 minutes against us this season. They've got away with murder.

He is as proactive subs wise as the cunts before him. Always waiting for things to happen rather than trying to make things happen.
