Read in the paper today, with quotes from O'Neill, that Sessegnon's wife and kids can't settle and have moved back to France, and as a result Sessegnon may be going back to France with them. O'Neill quotes were something like "it'll be difficult for him to stay" - hopefully he goes back to Ligue 1 because he is a good player, there's no getting away from that. Hope it's true...as you say he's a very good player.

Been going gradually downhill for the last year or so.....and some people on here rate him higher than Gerrard. Personally, I think Gerrard is and always has been a class above Lumplard. Wow. I wouldn't say he took control, but he showed his class every time he was on the ball. He took his goal brilliantly. For some reason, few people on this board rate him. If Erikkson had used Gerrard and Scholes correctly, ie not pushing Scholes wide left to accommodate Lampard ,which obviously influenced Scholes to retire from International football, England would've had a far better side from 2004-2006. Gerrard is class and with Scholes next to him, there were fewer better central midfield pairings anywhere.
