  1. Can't see any point in selling him now. If teams like Forest can have Awoniyi/Wood/Jesus for basically the same position or Palace can have 3, surely we can carry a selection of strikers.
  2. Tend to agree. If the penalty is just a fine then I guess you almost have to try and spy on your opponent when the prize of winning is many times higher.
  3. People like to be negative about our dealings.
  4. Sure, and hopefully previous seasons as well. I just mean that decision could’ve been made already, we have the data.
  5. Would be extremely harsh to place any importance on 2 fairly meaningless end of season games just before a World Cup summer like. I hope that’s not really how they’ll make this decision.
  6. Is this Jordan Ibe again?
  7. Still better than visiting Boro.
  8. I've tried but I can't want Newcastle to lose. Not since Ashley left anyway. And I'm going so I want a nice day out.
  9. Maybe this is what they're doing the play at SJP draw for?
  10. Exactly I mean, what is the point in being a fan?
  11. When we have a bad season do you go and run through all the mitigating factors that we should take into account?
  12. On that note, it’s funny how a club like Forest have 3 or 4 options for central striker and we are never able to assemble options like that. Similar with Palace.
  13. Well you seemed to be suggesting they didn’t care about support, it’s just a job for them and it doesn’t affect anything.
  14. We may as well not turn up to support them at all then.
  15. They’re officially sanctioned.
  16. Should be people outside slapping anyone who leaves before the lap is over.
  17. He's a good crosser as well.
  18. I feel like he would benefit from playing every game, guess most players would. Maybe not for us, but then again nobody else has done owt.
  19. What are you talking about you absolute plum Have they tried? Yes. Therefore thanks and lap of honour. Anything else is ridiculous.
  20. Have to extend don’t we? Can’t replace the whole squad.
  21. Couldn’t the same signs mean he’s being kept on?
  22. I don’t think he’s particularly great as a sub against tougher opposition, only against ones where he’s likely to have a chance made for him. I do like him I just struggle to assess how he should be used.
  23. I mean, objectively this is probably the worst time since the takeover, that's not too controversial. But surely you're not anywhere near as hopeless as we were under Ashley. This is just a normal bad football season, that was existential.
  24. He's playing in the wrong era then?
  25. He lacks the ability to get the better of good defenders, especially one on one. He's relatively un-explosive for someone who seems very fit and reasonably strong, but he held off the CB very well for his goal at the weekend. I wish I could see a starting role for him in a top PL team, but just not sure I do. Weird one for us, not sure we can play him but we can't afford to leave him out either. Maybe he needs to become a striker but it would obviously have to be in a team that didn't rely on their forward to bully or dominate CBs. His technique is great and he's probably one of the most reliable finishers in the league.
