I don’t know what people get out of hammering a player when he clearly did not get what he deserved. I just can’t get my head around anyone thinking missing 3 games for pushing someone a bit harder than normal is fair. FWIW I’d love to see a significant amount of city regeneration around the stadium - that looks the best part of the Old Trafford plan. Albeit it might end up chain restaurants and lots of unaffordable flats.

Definitely seems like a massive stadium funded without any debt is our best way to catch up on some of the clubs around us.

I always assume that most or all home crowds are ‘bad’ from the POV of the ideal atmosphere that we seem to imagine. Every away crowd usually has at least a couple of rounds of ‘is this a library’ etc, then they have it done to them when they get back home. Always hard to know what we’re actually expecting or aiming for when we talk about atmosphere.

It’s his style that is difficult for me. Not tidy and technical enough to be a CM really.
