  1. He’s so efficient, that’s probably his greatest strength. Doesn’t allow doubt into his mind, just knows what he wants to execute.
  2. That Mail article on Isak saying that ‘progress is expected’ on Wissa this week.
  3. I think it’s more that it’s such a big investment fund that the things aren’t even connected. One part of PIF is funding the Saudi league, and the managers of that are trying to get players in. Another part is funding us and the managers of us (when we get some) are tasked with making us as good as possible. As much as I’d like the entire PIF to have a joined up strategy with NUFC at the centre, I’m not sure it’s realistic.
  4. Yeah I know, but I mean in terms of our squad, we know who the first choice back 4 should be and I don't think there's any shock or disappointment about it.
  5. I think the only choice in the back 4 is Botman v Burn, isn't it? Tino, Hall and Schar will start.
  6. I still think we might just be working out the details of a deal and the 'time to think' line is just a way of keeping the story alive. Wishful thinking maybe.
  7. He has to come back, he'll be there. No other option, especially with the noises the club have been making about reintegration etc. I don't think he'd go as far as to go completely AWOL when the rest of the squad are back. I'd be surprised anyway.
  8. I get the impression Man U haven't bid and we are in pole position, it's more journalists trying to keep the saga alive until a move is confirmed. Who knows.
  9. Gordon might need to play some games up front this season like, depending on how the transfer window goes.
  10. Isn’t this contrary to previous tweets from other random blokes that suggested that we were just working out a few details? Felt like we were clearly more advanced than Man U.
  11. I’m not sure if our offer was more out of respect for him if he was desperate to stay, rather than something we wanted him to sign.
  12. Possibly the initial reaction was ridiculous, I dunno.
  13. Dunno why we choose to only put the negative tweet in the title
  14. He looks genuinely stoked to be here on the videos. Good lad.
  15. I'm sure he could've gone if he hadn't wanted to cash his full years of PL wages.
  16. I mean, Man Utd were always going to struggle to move players out, that was their bigghest weakness. TBH they've done well to get in the players they have.
  17. Hope they don't flog him as hard as they flogged Antonio, he won't survive the week.
  18. Nope. Even if it works out well I reckon he’ll miss 2-3 games. At least he won’t start them.
  19. It’s basically just unlucky if one exec promises you something then someone else takes a senior job and changes the position. It’s annoying but it’s not like we lied to string him along, we just had different people making the decisions.
  20. We’re not allowed to remember things, that’s key to society in 2025.
