I have the same, my iPhone is totally unusable for the majority of the match and on the way home. Annoys the gf, who wants to know the Rochdale score!

I think we're forgetting how much better this is than the last time we were in the Premiership. A lot of improvements have been made, even if all our weaknesses haven't been addressed.
-
Was going to say, I agree about Bellamy and (maybe) Zog, but backing players over managers in general is pretty risky.
-
Did a cracking job at Fulham like, given a few years he would probably rebuild Liverpool into a top 4-6 club. Obviously they have higher ambitions than that.
-
And probably his lifestyle and fitness. The problems he's had in England, imagine the Spanish skirt. Aye, he'll be kept in some sort of football monastery in the mountains with only fruit and vegetables and a weekly visit from Coleen (if she's speaking to him still).

See they've been leaving the special people alone with the desktop publishing software again.

Man Utd are in for a sticky couple of years like, the dynasty is coming to an end.

Every loss darkens the mood a bit, every win lightens it. It's going to be like that all season, we may as well accept it.
-
TBH, if I was a class player like Torres I would also be unwilling to accept criticism from a clogger like Jamie Carragher. The thing I hate most in football is taking stick from my own teammates. FFS, I know I'm playing shit!

Also, they had kind of started to heal the wounds with the fans, then they go and shoot themselves in the foot again. It's just a silly move IMO, as a proof of concept it's only proved that no company in their right minds would want to sponsor the ground. We heard to dog's abuse Sports Direct was getting from the fans yesterday.... if anything they're harming their brand.

TBH, he should leave the country for his own good. Can't see him wanting to learn Spanish or Italian, but suppose he might.
-
Hodgson will be on his bike in the next couple of weeks IMO, as soon as the new owners have assessed the situation.
-
The way Yakubu flattened that guy was class. That's the kind of robust play we want to see.
-
It's difficult for forward to be swapped in and out of the team anyway... we won't see an improvement from any 442 unless we stick with the same two for at least 5 games IMO. I don't think we should be writing off Loverkrands, although he has looked poor so far.
-
Or has been told not to comment on transfer rumours.

I tend to agree Mick, sadly the alternative is 451 with Nolan, who is even more useless.
-
Just out of interest... how many decisions a game do people think it's possible for a human being to get right? Assuming it's less than 100%, as the game is so fast and some things are open to debate, would be interesting to know how many of the supposed millions of mistakes that refs make are actually acceptable. Also, how much blame goes to managers for constantly pressurising officials, and to players for constantly trying to con them?

Thought he was rank in the first half, better in the second. Unfortunately Barton seemed to do the opposite.
-
Fair play to him for leavin out Nolan, not sure if he was injured or what. Hopefully he now knows that Guthrie is a CM or nothing, and that it's time to give Taylor a go at right back. I would have made the subs at half time yesterday personally, thought we were asking for trouble to send out the same team. They pulled it off though, so I suppose it worked.
-
If we had two good forwards that were good enough, I'd say definitely yes. As it is, I'd say probably yes. But it has to be Carroll and Shola, no other two can do it in this league.
-
I don't think he was entirely to blame today, playing a CM in front of him was asking for trouble. Guthrie offered him no help going forward or back. He is a bad player though, at least he looms it in the Prem so far. I would personally give Taylor ango for the moment, then ultimately make S Taylor our first choice RB.
