  1. Look forward to the pronunciations of Bardghji.

I’d like a left-footed technical CM with nice movement and energy. Can’t think of an example, someone like Bergvall but with more physicality and shithousery.

Still not convinced he's tidy enough to be a CM without giving the ball away a lot, but I guess you could say the same thing about Joelinton. Rooting for him though, hope he can find a role.
  4. There are definitely arguments to be had about being innovative in an environment where people would kill for a ST and the club don't really need to lock in the seat sales because demand is way above supply. But these things are very alien in football and I can't see the domination of the ST holder ever being questioned or changed. Best chance we have is a new stadium and a few more STs going on sale. I can possibly see tiered membership but I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a higher price rather than based on history. And even if it is based on history, ballots and loyalty points have restricted the loyalty that people could show. Not an easy one to solve.
  5. I will but I might not bother with cup games.
  6. I think ST holders could be allowed to give up their seat for a game and enter the ballot in a group with other people instead.
  7. Yeah, both sides are hard done to, it’s just a fact that people can’t get tickets beside someone they know these days.
  8. I sympathise but almost everyone has to go to the match on their own now. And also have no chance of a cup final ticket. Two wrongs don’t make a right, I know.
  9. I just mean when NUST are consulted, do they only consider the needs of ST holders and not NUFC members as well? I don’t get involved so I guess I can’t complain, but it would be a shame if ST holding fans get more representation than anyone else. Ultimately the club are the ones responsible anyway. But if they’re taking NUST as the fans’ voice then it would be interesting if all fans are not thought of equally. I don’t have any evidence of this by the way, mainly a paranoid suspicion
  10. Do members not get a say now then? Aren’t the needs of members considered and represented by the trust now?
  11. Personally I don’t think he’ll get another PL job but you never know what owners can do.
  12. Maybe at a relegation battler.
  13. For season tickets I don’t know, for other tickets just send them the download link.
  14. Pretty poor draw for us overall, although we should get through. Unlucky to be matched with a PL team and no other big ties to knock a contender out.
  15. Ah yeah, I mean they’re sometimes good games and worth watching. It’s just that you know you’re not really considered as part of the most serious group of fans when it comes to final tickets, so if you feel like saving some money it’s probably the way to do it.
  16. Why is the jumper significant?
  17. I do think I might start watching cup games on TV. Not that I don’t enjoy them but save the money to soften the blow of the league game costs, and no expectation of a final ticket to worry about.
  18. I parked about a mile away to the east, down the canal path and walked along. Wasn't too bad. Actually there were people parking on the pavement very close to the ground but I personally wouldn't risk that.
  19. Yeah completely, I don't really have an answer but it's rubbish. Wish more than anything that I'd taken up a couple of cheap ST under Ashley. Even keeping the seat empty would've been worth it in hindsight. Personally I would have done this based purely on cup game attendance and nothing to do with holding a ST, but maybe the numbers would have worked out similar anyway.
