  1. Would like more but you’re on the right lines. I still think a left-footed RW with technical ability would also add a lot of options.
  2. When does the counter on throws start, guess from when someone picks up the ball? Guess they won't have time to dry it on a towel (which should be illegal anyway), so that's a positive.
  3. Agree there's plenty of scope for those kind of things. They seem to have gone the other way with tactical fouls in midfield, where it used to be automatic yellow it's now just a FK most of the time. Can't explain that at all, it's endorsing ant football.
  4. We really have to stick together and endure the next couple of weeks like, could get extremely grim.
  5. Think people just misunderstand what kind of player he is and what is realistic for a winger to do in PL football. Almost no players in the PL just push the ball and run, it's not a play that anybody will be told to do really. Said it before, if he pushed and ran every time he got the ball the fans would probably like him more despite the results being exactly the same.
  6. Would be a good trip for some random Championship games if they reduce the prices and have plenty available.
  7. I'm sure I didn't have grease smeared over my TV for the first 2/3 of my life.
  8. The point is that we don’t know Howe persuaded them to get rid of him. That’s made up.
  9. Don’t know how many times we have to do Trafford. Whenever we agreed a deal for him the call would have to go in to Man City to step in if they wanted.
  10. I don’t think we know this at all.
  11. Not sure why you would decide the future of your football club on that criteria like. Would be bizarre. He's hardly going to 'crash out' of the cups either, he has to play 2 of the best clubs in the world to progress. Stupid way to put it.
  12. Wouldn't be against this either.
  13. Our biggest failing for sure, can only put it down to the fact that all our executive appointments have failed and we haven't had the person in place to build out a really elite-level department.
  14. I think this period is the best because of the fact we emerged from a period of despair that covered a large proportion of my adult life. I was in the process of removing myself from the club completely, considering myself a neutral and getting rid of any NUFC stuff I owned. I know that Keegan saved the club and that period was amazing but I was a bit young to appreciate it in the same way I do now. And I didn't really experience the pain that came before. And also we didn't win anything.
  15. Don't think anyone thinks he is TBH, it's more about finding a place in the team for him while we try to press with a faster forward.
  16. Sure, I hope so, a lot of players from all of the top leagues are at the WC though, it's not like it's only the superstars. I hope we already have some deals in the pipeline, you're right we desperately need them to happen.
  17. We don't need to wait around for the World Cup, not so sure for players and agents though.
  18. Yeah but nobody would care about the fee if he was playing well. And if he’d cost £10m less he’d still be a bad signing with what he’s done so far.
  19. Yeah totally, I just think that would make referees even more scared to call it.
  20. Not much would be my guess. Think if Wissa hadn’t suffered a bad injury is the better question.
  21. They have to do something about penalties in football. Such a low scoring game and results being decided by someone diving when they feel a hand on their shoulder. Ruins the sport.
  22. Yeah, I think we’re supposed to have at least 2 lethal wingers though
  23. Yes and no. I still think in theory he should be able to link up really well with our wide players who want goals above anything else. And runners like Ramsey and Tonali from midfield. Obviously we’ve had loads of injures, fatigue and have played shit so none of this has really been able to be tested.
  24. You know what I mean though. 3 players proven to be able to play well and get goals and assists in the PL. Came here and either got injured or did nothing. Being pessimistic and then being proved right is fine and all that. But there was no logical reason to think they’d be this bad.
