  1. I assumed last time they did the ballots together but had progressively smaller number of tickets set aside for each pot.
  2. Yeah, but what I mean is... an alternative way to imagine the PL would be like a company that runs a league, the members of which are basically temporary. The clubs wouldn't be so influential, although they would be stakeholders for the time they're in. The PL itself would have managers, a CEO and all the things that a private company has. It would be their job to maximise the quality, competitiveness and the appeal of that league. If that was the case then I would imagine they would do what it takes to be the richest and most exciting league in the world. The fact that people like Mbappe don't play here would be considered a failure. That structure might have its own problems that would affect football in their own way (money going crazy) but at least it would be coherent in making the league the richest and 'best' it can be.
  3. I haven't read this in detail, but the existence of this kind of thing is genuinely mental. A sporting league creating a body to judge against its own members and keep money away from its own product. It just shouldn't be allowed and makes zero sense except from the most cynical level for a few individual owners who want into the league for cheap or who want to protect their position. The whole league really needs to be reorganised and governed as a company with a single strategy, instead of a member's club for the owners of the current clubs.
  4. It's genuinely the worst thing I've seen with my eyes. And I've seen some shit.
  5. Selfishly I want the current system to continue because I always get a ticket in the general or resale. But I think the only fair way (without tiers of support) is 100% ballot. I would love some kind of system of loyalty but they've dug themselves into a whole by making game attendance based on a large amount of randomness. Obviously gutted about the cup final decisions too, but I half expected it.
  6. Yeah, I was dabbling with the idea of paying a fair bit based on last time, but I was blown away by how much more it is this time. I think I could've attended the 2023 final for under £500 at one point.
  7. Hope we put on a great performance for you lads @BeloEmre and @GeordieInManc
  8. The seat is in a good viewing location but nothing about the bar itself is worth talking about. It’s just a larger concourse with some carpet really.
  9. TBF when I wished for us to win something I never imagined physically being there. TBH I never thought about us winning something
  10. Even during the run to the final I was a bit down, knowing that I would never have a chance of final tickets. I mean, I know everything always goes to ST holders first so I didn't expect anything, but the reality was still a massive let down.
  11. Maybe people were in shock due to the change from last year. I know I was, I expected some tickets set aside for the members who had been to all the games. But I agree the wording was pretty clear, I just didn’t like it
  12. Think the uncertainty was mainly if all the pots would go ahead, but it seemed to me that they wouldn't because it could easily sell out before it reaches pot 4+.
  13. Still feels absolutely mental to have attended every cup game possible and be in Pot 6
  14. Before e-tickets IIRC, people used to sell their tickets and the buyer would just collect them from the box office. Obviously there weren't professional online marketplaces though.
  15. Happens with autocomplete on the card details. Same for league games.
  16. It was a mad signing for Arsenal, thought he must have incriminating photos of Arteta or something.
  17. Anyone who visits the site gets put in the queue. Won’t find out you can’t access the tickets until your turn.
  18. Always find this interest in records quite funny, when it basically means 'hasn't beaten the best team in the world on their home ground'. Not many people have.
