That's a beautiful notion. But can you really see him coming back on the wages and expectations of being third choice? I'm sure he'd rather choose that over being 1st choice at someone like Stoke. I don't think he's gonna be inundated with offers tbh..

Everyone hating this has to remember hopefully we will be playing 50+ games next year & Carroll as a 3rd choice striker isn't a bad idea.

Love watching Bilbao and their values and the way they play football makes it a great story. I still remember my first away game. Wolves away (03/04) a 1-1 draw when that lass got hit by the firework & on the coach on the way down some of the lads we're singing racist & Pro NF songs. As a mixed race 17 year old I was terrified & my mates we're so embarrassed they couldn't apologise enough. The faces of the lads in question we're a picture as they walked down the bus, saw me & promptly realised they were in the wrong. Gladly that's my only experience of racism in 15 years of following NUFC.

Eh? Do you know him personally do you? As I've ALREADY STATED, it was originally a simple comment on my dislike for his attitude. Agree or disagree with me I'm not bothered. But if you want to have a pop at me for my view then I'm going to defend myself. There's nothing to let go. It's the reaction of people like you that's the genuine disappointment.
