Allardyce simply isn't brave enough and is too obsessed with his platform.

Dont think anyone has disagreed that they were sh*te, but your talking out your arse. Players/Teams/Managers need time thats a fact. Keegan days are over..... Wake up and smell the coffee. Ok, let's give him time and I for one really want this chap too succeed. What I have seen thus far leaves me wondering just how much time Allardyce requires against what he actually has. Look, 5 games in and I am not convinced. I don't want the bloke sacked but it's beyond me how more time is gonna help a bloke who's general tactics are so flawed from what I've witnessed so far. It's not acceptable just because it is NUFC. If time fixes what I witnessed last night AND in other games then I so hope I am wrong. -

If there's two 'statements' made by contributors of footballing threads that really annoy me after watching such an atrocious and totally inept display by a Newcastle United team then these are them: 1) Folks that think that honest opinion displaying anger, disgust, dumbfoundedness, disillusionment, bewilderment, etc having witnessed such a pathetic display is construed as being a 'knee-jerk reaction'. Knee-jerk is over-used on this forum by far and seemingly by people who ca not see what is in front of their eyes. 2) Folks that think that it's 'early days'/'give them a chance'/'they need to gel' (type of statement). I find it incredible that people state these as reasons for ineptness on the field. Folks that think 'look, it's only our first defeat of the season'. Against a rock bottom sack of sh*t that we SHOULD be beating. It's pointless naming these folks but what is seen on this forum time and time again is a blinkered approach by some who are able to, time and time again, find excuses for utter sh*te. How much more time do we want to give to managers of NUFC? Most have been given time and most fail. What you see is what you get I believe and Allardyce is no exception. His brand of football at this moment in time is f*cking garbage. It need to change and fast. Hoardes of backroom staff and the very best methods to get the best out of the players? Not what I have seen in any game. I see the odd individual performance as being good. By the time this lot gel the season will be over. Knee-jerk my arse. Give em' more time? Time for what? Wake up and smell the coffee. -

Knee jerk tbh. Bolton - Good performance Villa - Poor performance Boro - Decent performance... should have won but for a lapse just after our goal. Barnsley - Good Performance Wigan - First half was particularly good, Second Half canny Derby - Very poor I still have no doubts that we will do well this season. Kneejerk my arse. You have summed it up perfectly chap. Out of 5 Premiership games, based on your review of each, we have played a total of 1 good game and half a good game. .What about the remaining 3 1/2? Look at who we've played. Before kick off last night my feeling was that results masked some poor performances (not all games) but we'd accumulated 8 points. Last nights result confimred that we have performance issues. -

110% Unacceptable. Ameobi is rank, super slow and can't head the ball. I do not concur with the school of thought that suggests that we need a big/small combo. If Martins becomes disillusioned that he can't get a game in front of Ameobi then we are truly f*cked as he'll be off for sure. Rather have two speedy forwards terrorising defences as opposed to a clown like Ameobi. Injuries are being blamed now I see. Short of players? Christ I seem to witnessing a cracking transfer window and some great players coming in and thought we had cover in most positions? It's down to Allardyce to make changes, gee up players and play positive football. Not this f*cking pure sh*ite that has been served up so far. No wonder Toon fans (in the main) are disillusioned this morning. What a f*cking sickner of a result and I'm here doing a 10 hour shift to get paid what those f*ckers on the field last night earned in 10 minutes. -

Well f*ck me. Heskey is a c*nt. Animal. Oh yeah Dave by the way, life is not a rehersal. I didn't merge it mate. I was making the point to NSG that you had seen this thread. Yeah, good point. Mods, I know that there is a already a thread on this BUT I feel that this news warrants a thread of it's own!!! I watched that ANIMAL yestarday basically take out 3 of our players. I'm angered that he was not sent off. His behaviour was nothing short of utter filth. Somebody tell me that the three fouls (fucking GBH TBH) he made did not warant a sending off. F*cking b*stard what he is. England? My ar*e. Joke. F*cking loon. Liability. Psycho. F*ck off Heskey you f*cking b*stard. -
Yes this is all true. Sitting here in the office, staring out of the window and sees this chopper, approx 1/4 mile away, descend toward the training ground. "What a f*cking tossa" - bet some of his team mates will have had had that very same thought this morning upon seeing him arrive in that.

Wenger - A great manager but he's annoyed me already with his bull!!!
Jay Jay Sea replied to Jay Jay Sea's topic in Football
What do you mean by this chap? Elaborate please. -
I've been a fan of Wenger for many years now and have total respect for him as a manager (I know he's not everyones cup of tea) but something he said this yesterday had me thinking, 'hold on! Are we really 10-15 games into the season already'? Wenger claims that "had Arsenal LOST yesterday then effectively that would have been Arsenal OUT OF CONTENTION for the Premiership title this season". What???? One game into the season and already talk of titles being won and lost. Think this guy needs a reality check (or does he??) or is this just the start of a long season of mind-games..........or am I out of touch with reality for that matter?

The whole Becks and Posh thing is basically a circus. How and why folks take an interest in them is beyond me. I reckon it's nailed on that he'll be assassinated before the end of the year (with a bit of luck). Mind I'd prefer to see her head blown clean off at some film premier or whatever. Live as well with say 50 million viewers with Tom Cruise and his bird covered in claret and here single brain cell will land in his boot. Probably 6/4 against one of the will be done in.

I'm with Baggio and Martin Jol on this. Way to go I think.

SSN going through Thursday morning papers and Sun report that Wenger wants Oba to replace Henry. We know of his admiration for Oba so.......likely to happenor more Sun shite? -
Frank Lampost? Sorry. Tht was sh*te.

Not for me sir. I'd rather sign a team of Hyypia's, Viduka's and Barton's and win one single trophy than sign yet more kids for the youth team. Kids playing in the youth team will not keep Allardyce his job nor will it bring silverware that his boss and the fans are so desperate for. Correct me if I am wrong but it seems to me that Newcastle Utd's policy been to sign young players for relatively vast sums of cash and then see them NEVER become great players or fulfil their potential. I suppose I'd put the likes of Jenas, Dyer or even Bramble in the category. Proven experienced players win the day for me at the moment in time.

A good list but no Beardsley or Ginola? Surely one of 'em (Beardo for me)........ Long live Beardo.

Funny thing occured this morning listeneing to Talksport. Alan Brazil and Graeme Beecroft were about to cross to some chap who covers the Toon for the Daily Express in the North. They crossed to him and the telephone line went completely dead. Fckin Brazil then starts laughing his skull off suggesting that it was not the tone of a telephone line and was infact that of a heart monitor (or whatever they are called) the Fat Fred was wired up to and Fat Freddy Shep had died. F**king hilarious I thought.

how has no one picked up on this!? hahaha I was just wondering that Bramble. Could be time for me to move on. Shame as well coz I had just remembered the time I was peering through the window of Sven Adult Book Shop when I was about 10 years old and I only went and spotted Frank Pingel ramming his joystick up Justin Fashanu's anus. Man do I have an uncanny knackof being in the wrong place at the right time? I'm sure there's one more occasion lurking..............

When I was a bairn I spotted Michael O'Neill (sp?) in Eldon Square and then a year or so later got Mickey Quinn's autograph in Eldon Sq also. More recently I spotted Steven Carr on his knees on Pink Lane taking this chaps weapon in his gob. Just last week I also spotted Peter Ramage up against some bins just off Northumberland St getting rammed up the hoop of some fella. 110% True.

Hate to say it but Man U from a pure neutral footballing perspective. I think they've played some great stuff as opposed to Chelsea who don't do anything at all for me. Liverpool have already done it recently and so I would just think well so f*ck you greedy bastards. F*ck Milan. Have have no allegance to any of the four. Essentially they are all w*nkers.

Rarely do I contribute to the 'footballing' side of this forum (there has never been a reason for not doing so) but, PLEASE TELL ME IF I AM WRONG HERE, did or did not Roeder say last week that the ONLY/BEST way to beat AZ would be to attack them. I seriously expected us to have a go. Where the f*ck was there even the slightest hint of any attacking/positive football played throughout the WHOLE 90 minutes. F*CKING ANGRY is an understatement. Please someone agree.
