think i would still look forward to it with blind excitement - we'll make new signings, and no footie for 2 months always gets you desperate for a new season.

The fans turned against him when we played Reading and I think they will do it again. i mean in a real collective way vocally letting him know it's time to leave
-
I think he's not getting a hard time from fans because of the risk of relegation. don't want the negative atmosphere get to the players. think if we had guaranteed survival (drawing at wigan would have pretty much assured safety) , he would be getting a lot more shit at games... enough to possibly make him consider his position at the club or even Ashley to consider a change in the summer. pards doesn't seem to be the type to stay where he's not wanted. think "pardew out" chants at the moment would be counter-productive.

cant blame pards for cisse missing an open goal

and now he's ruined hatem http://www.flickr.com/photos/40191515@N05/8662083153/in/photostream

I bet pards has just shown him that move and tried to get hatem to copy it. we need a new coach, man.

think his banter's becoming awfully close to that of brewcie's

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8649055/ Newcastle boss Alan Pardew fears Yohan Cabaye burn-out Newcastle boss Alan Pardew admits he is concerned about the burden he has placed on Yohan Cabaye this season. Pardew blamed fatigue for his side's 3-0 derby defeat at home to Sunderland and claimed the club's run to the Europa League quarter-finals had taken its toll - especially on his playmaker. Pardew said: "Cabaye is probably my biggest worry. The rest of them are really sound physically and mentally. "But Cabaye is our best player in terms of intelligence on the pitch and he needs to play. That's why he has played almost every minute." Newcastle, who sit five points above the drop zone, travel to West Brom on Saturday looking to end a run of four straight Premier League defeats on the road. .

villa away relegation was worse. mignolet made 3 or 4 decent saves yesterday, whereas we barely threatened the villa goal that dark day.

will HE have the balls to drop tiote and Jonas? -
thought we suffered after ben arfa came on as marveaux subsequently didn't see much of the ball and he had been out most threatening player

think for us a draw would be acceptable as it keeps them at arms length. they have to win. should suit us as we can hit them on the break.
-
his corners were so much better than cabaye's
-
short's got as much clue as Ashley/llambias
-
we don't have a chance as he'll probably want to stay in the premiership next season any way.

michael thomas? Too young for that so can't really remember it. But Man Utd thinking it was won and pretty much celebrating...then snatched away. michael thomas was better for me personally because if you think how much manu are hated for their arrogance, being worshipped by the media, and all round c**try now, liverpool were 10 times worse then
