I wonder if pardew's ever sought graham carr's advice. after all, carr's a coach in his own right and has seen a lot of sissoko, cabaye etc and must know where they've been most effective.

Has this narc'd anyone else? Going on like we spent an age in the lower leagues. It was one season. Aye, you can't say we've been in the Premiership for 10 years, but we have for 9 of the last 10. yes it did but everything he says now is ridiculous and we could be here all day taking the p*ss (and some of us are). better just to give up and avoid his interviews.

if he's still here next season, he knows he's got making up to do. think we'll get a full-on assault on the league and fa cups.

I think "You don't know what you're doing" let him know what they thought about his substitutions. It turned out that the changes were due to injuries. He was still given stick and that was mainly because people thought that he was stupid enough to remove an injury free Marveaux and Cabaye. Perch came on for Marveaux and within minutes we'd gone from 1-0 up to 1-1, next he removed Cabaye and replaced him with Bigirimana and within minutes we were 2-1 behind. still it was a bit restrained that day... have heard a lot worse and more bitter.

think i would still look forward to it with blind excitement - we'll make new signings, and no footie for 2 months always gets you desperate for a new season.

The fans turned against him when we played Reading and I think they will do it again. i mean in a real collective way vocally letting him know it's time to leave

I think he's not getting a hard time from fans because of the risk of relegation. don't want the negative atmosphere get to the players. think if we had guaranteed survival (drawing at wigan would have pretty much assured safety) , he would be getting a lot more shit at games... enough to possibly make him consider his position at the club or even Ashley to consider a change in the summer. pards doesn't seem to be the type to stay where he's not wanted. think "pardew out" chants at the moment would be counter-productive.

I bet pards has just shown him that move and tried to get hatem to copy it. we need a new coach, man.

  17. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8649055/ Newcastle boss Alan Pardew fears Yohan Cabaye burn-out Newcastle boss Alan Pardew admits he is concerned about the burden he has placed on Yohan Cabaye this season. Pardew blamed fatigue for his side's 3-0 derby defeat at home to Sunderland and claimed the club's run to the Europa League quarter-finals had taken its toll - especially on his playmaker. Pardew said: "Cabaye is probably my biggest worry. The rest of them are really sound physically and mentally. "But Cabaye is our best player in terms of intelligence on the pitch and he needs to play. That's why he has played almost every minute." Newcastle, who sit five points above the drop zone, travel to West Brom on Saturday looking to end a run of four straight Premier League defeats on the road. .

  20. villa away relegation was worse. mignolet made 3 or 4 decent saves yesterday, whereas we barely threatened the villa goal that dark day.
