Own goal? I suppose he did use to play for west Ham, which makes your post make sense We'll dominate the game, but lose. Is what I was getting at... what are you basing this on? -

got a good feeling about this. Our midfield will completely outplay theirs, we just need to make sure we can get Nolan in the box more. -
How do you see the rest of the season panning out?

I think we'll go down tbh, midfield is shite other than Tiote. Defence is not too bad but Williamson isn't fit to wear the shirt of Gateshead. Strikeforce is League 2 standard and we have nothing in reserve. -
Jonas has been very good last 2 games, when Enrique plays well, so does Jonas, they are a match made in Heaven. His crossing was great against Arsenal, he has the ability but seems to get confused when in certain scenarios, he doesn't know what to do, whether that be between shooting or crossing or crossing high with power or without power, or crossing low or high. He's an odd one, strangest winger I've ever seen but he makes us a better team.

Villarreal* but yes I think they had some problems that they're expecting to come out of when they qualify for the Champions League again this season. Competing at the highest level with very limited resources is difficult and the fact they've managed to do it at all is an example to a lot of other clubs with far more potential. What is your point? The scenarios are completely different. OK, so we "do a Villarreal" (who by, VI's admission "are truly a fairy tale"). We keep the likes of Carroll, Tiote and Enrique here by promising them that we'll match their ambition with some sensible spending and increasing the wage structure to attract champions league calibre players. Heaven knows, we actually start challenging for the Champs League and qualifying a couple of season - might even go on a run. Now that we're earning at that level, we start spending at that level. What happens when we don't qualify one season? Or re-create the Partisan downfall? Do we continue to spend during that season in the hope that we re-qualify (facing far fiercer financial obstacles if we fail) or do we cut our cloth accordingly and sell off some of our star players, breaking up the squad in the process? (this may have happened to Valencia) That sounds like Freddy's plan apart from the not qualifying for CL part.

Wheater always looked like agood prospect, I thought he may go the same way as S Taylor, but playing alongside cahill could reignite him.

He'd have been damn handy against Blackburn even just to inject a bit of pace towards the end, I cannot for the life of me understand him going. -

Depends when Sholas back imo how we will finish the season, if Shola comes back and scores 5-7 goals we could do well, but its not just the goals we need, hes decent at hold up and bullies defenders a bit. Like a shit Andy Carroll but hes alright. -
Spurs will sign him, loan him to Notts forest, and then hell not progress and end up playing as a lower to mid level premier league striker

My 9month old son is mroe useful than Dan Gosling atm, he cant walk or run either but he wouldn't let that affect his game.

I dont fully understand why harper did that, fucking weird tbh. -
Love it when people say hes not cut out for the English game but is a Barca type player. Would Barcelona not probably win the premier league with their squad? I understand what you are saying but even if Barca playing Stoke away in sleet on a tuesday night in december I know who my money would be on.
