I think we'd be better with Tino against PSG so we have recovery pace. Especially if Mbappe starts. -

I think we were fortunate today with that result. We still had the same issues at the start of the game. Once we scored, then another, they just lost confidence. I don't mean to be negative but I just don't like our current system. Eddie will resolve it, we can't maintain this half pres half possession based system. -

No-one said anything about Miley. -
He was class against villa. We also looked alot weaker against Milan when he came off.

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

As long as he changes left back I don't care -
Should stick Bruno in nets and pope up front. That way Bruno can pick out Pope everyone who can flick it on for Gordon and almiron
-
And using some of the talent in the bench. Press is the most important thing though

Go back to the aggressive press. -
I'm the same the result was excellent but I don't think our new system is very good. We need to go back to pressing the living fuck out of teams.

I thought they'd said they lost that stronghold. -
Smart play by Gordon as far as I am concerned. I don't like it but this is modern football. If we don't do it but the opponents do then we are leaving points on the table. Up to the governing bodies to decide how they want the game to be played, not the ref, Eddie, Gordon or us as fans. Have to extract everything you can.

I think we are lacking intensity, I think having 2 of Bruno or Tonali in the side is hurting us. If we are trying to play with a really aggressive press we shouldn't be starting Tonali and Bruno together until Tonali gets the intensity which he will moreso than Bruno. We are/have been also missing Willock (glad he is back), our game is about energy and intensity which he has in spades and he does exactly what is asked of him. We do need to start experimenting with the fullbacks though to add more energy. I think that's the grand plan. Pace, energy from the fullbacks (Hall and Livramento) which allows us to have Tonali and Bruno in CM. Convert to 4-2-3-1 because we have more energy and can push from the back. With pace with the fullbacks we will also be less susceptible to a high press or counter attacks as we'll have pace to recover. Also, I am well aware Tonali didn't start against Brentford but Anderson isn't the answer there. I'd like to see Miley given some minutes above Anderson but I can understand why Eddie hasn't. Edit: I also think we should have beaten Liverpool and it was our performance against Brighton that disappointed me, but they just beat Man United by the same scoreline they beat us. I think we've been fine in the other games apart from yesterday or Brighton but we did not press with the intensity we used to.

I agree with this, we lack creativity in the final third and if we play with them we need quick talented full backs, which we have they just don't get a game yet. I think we will transition to Hall at least in the shorter term. Livramento will get games but probably not yet.

Yeah he will. I wish Willock was fit. I think he is massively underrated for us.
