I don't know but they have a very passionate fan base. If you go into a pub in Southampton (I worked there, same as where I live no in Brighton) and talk to someone they won't always bring up their football team. If you speak to a mackem one of the first things they will talk about is SAFC.

In terms of a fan base they are. Fan bases don't matter nowadays though at the top level in terms of finances.. It's about being a well run club. I think having a great fam base can get a bit more out of the team though.

Aye, but Chelsea dont buy at market prices nor do Benfica sell at them. There are probably rules around the prices, you probably have to cite a similar example. If ASM played for Portugal we no doubt could have said 50M but as he is not an international (I was using Neves as an example as I think him and ASM are similar profile caps aside). There will be rules around there having to cite an example and it will involve international caps and age.

I'm excited but I think it's going to be very competitive next season. Chelsea will be back, Liverpool are making excellent signings, Spurs I think will be about the same or regress but I think Villa will be in the mix for top 4. Arsenal could do anything and I expect Man United to do well and obviously Man City but they've sold some great players.

It's odd as we have excellent depth on the LF position and RB with Livramento but RF and lb are a bit suspect. I think that's planned. Trippier attacks left back stays back
