Is that what that Italy song was about the fans were signing at the end of the season? Dan Ashworth off to sign Tonali?

He's on 90k per week gross at the minute. I can see maybe 160k but not 307k

You are such a great poster. Thank you for your insight. I hope we get him and wish Milan all the success.

Could have been our midfield that.
-
I guess so but we've spent more than ever before since the takeover and are in the Champions League.

They have a stake in a PE firm that has many investments. One is Chelsea. If Disney sponsors Man United it doesn't mean PIF are sponsoring man United.

Some posters on here are mental. I can't believe anyone is reading anything into this.

That's a fair analysis. I miss the derby, there isn't another match like it.

How do they expect to get 50 when he has 12 months left and they've just been relegated. -
You can barely get a 2nd choice leftback for that now.

I suspect that Twitter and RTG don't give a true view on their thoughts. Obviously we are rivals, that will never change but a balanced view would be nice. I for one miss the derby. There wasn't a game like it.

@TeddySAFC You seem fairly level headed, what is the general consensus in Sunderland about Newcastle's turnaround. I only really see the trolls on twitter and the erratic folk on RTG who all seem to offer out any NUFC fan they see who always backs down from them scared.

Chat gpts take on things Newcastle Pursuing Barella & AM Write me an article in the style of the athletic about Newcastle United trying to sign Nicolo Barrella and another attacking midfielder ChatGPT Newcastle United Sets Sights on Nicolo Barella and Exciting Attacking Midfielder to Boost Squad In a bid to reinforce their midfield options and inject a wave of creativity into their play, Newcastle United has set their sights on securing the services of Inter Milan's highly-rated midfielder Nicolo Barella, along with another dynamic attacking midfielder. The Magpies' new ambitious ownership is leaving no stone unturned in their quest to revitalize the club's fortunes, and these potential signings signal their intent to compete with the best in the Premier League. Nicolo Barella, the 25-year-old Italian sensation, has been on the radar of top clubs across Europe after his standout performances for both club and country. Blessed with exceptional technical ability, tireless work rate, and remarkable vision, Barella has established himself as one of the brightest midfield talents in Serie A. His ability to control the tempo of the game, thread incisive passes, and contribute defensively make him an enticing prospect for any team. With Newcastle United undergoing a period of transformation and ambition, the potential acquisition of Barella could serve as a statement of intent. The midfielder's skill set perfectly aligns with the Magpies' desire to play an attractive brand of football while competing at the highest level. Furthermore, his age fits perfectly into the club's long-term vision, as they aim to build a squad capable of sustained success. However, Barella's capture alone would not satisfy Newcastle's hunger for midfield reinforcements. The club's hierarchy recognizes the need for additional attacking flair to unlock the full potential of their revamped squad. The pursuit of another dynamic attacking midfielder is evidence of their commitment to assembling a formidable unit capable of challenging the Premier League's elite. While specific targets have not been confirmed, rumors have circulated regarding the Magpies' interest in several exciting talents. The club is reportedly monitoring the situation of Florian Neuhaus from Borussia Monchengladbach, whose technical prowess, intelligent movement, and goal-scoring ability would offer a valuable dimension to Newcastle's midfield. Additionally, Portuguese sensation Bruno Fernandes of Sporting Lisbon has been on the club's radar, with his exceptional vision, creativity, and eye for goal making him an ideal candidate to spearhead Newcastle's attacking endeavors. Newcastle United's interest in both Barella and another attacking midfielder underscores their determination to rebuild a squad capable of challenging for European qualification. The club's new owners have promised significant investment in the playing squad, and these potential signings demonstrate their commitment to delivering on those promises. Should they succeed in securing the services of Barella and their desired attacking midfielder, it would send shockwaves across the footballing landscape and showcase Newcastle's newfound ambition. As negotiations continue, Newcastle fans eagerly await the outcome of these pursuits. The prospect of witnessing a midfield partnership between Nicolo Barella and a marquee attacking midfielder would undoubtedly inject a sense of excitement and anticipation into St. James' Park. With their club aiming to rise from the shadows and compete with the Premier League's elite, the arrival of these two gifted midfielders would represent a significant step towards achieving that lofty goal.

Why are these games so late? Trippier and Wilson won't get a break.
-
Well, there is a lot wrong with that statement. I think it was more of a policy under SAF than anything, they did sign superstars at points though. If Man City or Liverpool didn't exist, your statement might have legs. Because they do it's utter bollocks

Everyone is too expensive according to our party line but that's to keep prices down. Obviously FFP is an issue but we still have money we can spend. It'll be interesting to see what happens with man city, Everton and even Villa when you look what they've spent. I think FFP if FFP is actually enforced then clubs will toe the line, if not then it'll be free reign for British clubs and well dominate Europe. Also for it to be fair across Europe it needs to take into account taxation.

What do you want this thread to be? Confirmed signings? No cunt will know if any cunt will sign until you see photos of them at the training ground or the club announce it.
-
Aye, might want to move to CB but would be good at Championship level.
-
You can't compare them as Newcastle is far better.i lived in Rome and once you get over the beauty it's a shit place to live.
-
He's 21 ffs. At least give him a chance.
