They have probably set the bar too high in terms of their targets. If we get relegated it isn't because of the owners, its because we are being quoted crazy prices and most players don't want to join as we will most likely get relegated.

I don't think they'll see it this way. Whether we get relegated or not if we are going to become a threat to them it'll happen either way. Not that I'm saying we will at least in the short term. If we gave them 5 million and paid his wages. That's a reasonable chunk for someone they'll get Jack shit for and won't play because they don't need him.

I'd take a punt on Hazard tbh. It might work, it might not. What we have now does not work so there is an improvement in chances if he comes on loan.

@Sean Rafa, I fucking love and I would have him back but the issue is his, along with Howe's training and tactics take a long time to take effect. You can research both, with Rafa, us going down is a casing point. With Howe look at his former clubs. We also have to factor in these players have been ruined by Bruce because of a lack of coaching for years. Some have responded, some haven't. I thought we would have had better results just from training but its a completely different approach ( actually coaching the players). Eddie has been hamstrung from the start(covid) and we have been very unlucky and I'll never fucking forgive Clark for that sending off as we would have won that game. Because of various unfortunate bollocks we didn't get the new manager bounce and have been unlucky. We look shite now so we need a few signings and I think we will be ok.

He's achieved things in this division as well. Hard to compare with Rafa tbh. Completely different style but both focus on fitness and set up, both take a long time for the players to drill into them what they want. Look at either of them at any club.

Fuck, didn't realise they were going after Martinez. He will probably keep them up tbh, even if he is useless, they have a very good squad. The problem with Everton this season hasn't been Rafa, it has been the toxic environment their fans created, that some of their players picked up on. I'd have preferred Rafa over anyone when the takeover went through but Eddie has my full backing. I really like him and it takes a long time for his methods to work (same as Rafa in that respect tbh).
