Let's not forget Souness.

Did Juve change managers when they were relegated? IIRC they brought in Mick McCarthy and sacked him as soon as they were back in Serie A http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/2-17-2016/aN00Tv.gif

It doesn't matter what the kit looks like in fairness it's always gonna be remembered and judged by the success/lack of success we had in it, for example the 3 kits you just name there are all associated with, happy times at the club, even though coincidently they were all beautiful kits imo, they could of been wearing bin bags smothered in s**** during the seasons you mentioned and we would still remember them fondly because of the sucess... Kits like the 97/99 one which is a proper cult classic imo was always being slated because bar 1 or 2 great moments (tinos hatrick, Shearers goal against Spurs in the cup semi) the majority of the 2 seasons we wore it were filled with underachieving, it's the same with the 03/05 jersey which is right up there with the grandad collar Jersey as one of the best we ever had again isn't held in the same esteem because it's associated with failure to qualify for the champions league, and some horrid performances under souness... I could be just chatting s**** here but that's my theory ! Lol No, that did cross my mind as well when posting. I always liked the 1997-1999 shirt and felt it was quite unique, even though we weren't all that 'successful' during those years, along with the 2003-2005 shirt.

Just out of curiosity, what is everyone's favourite home shirt that we've had? The supposed leak seems to be getting quite a mixed reaction, as most of our shirts seem to as long as I've been on here. I think for me it'd be our shirt from 2001-2003, though obviously the 1995-1997 shirt is right up there with it, and maybe 1993-1995.

I wasn't sure what to make of that when I first saw it, but I've quite warmed to the idea of it over the last few hours. With the sponsorship deal ending within the next year, will the Wonga sponsor be replaced mid-season like the Northern Rock one was?
-
It always looks horrible when we have absolutely nothing on the back of our shirt. It definitely needs stripes on the back, but I'm in agreement with the people on here who are against that Dortmund template. It's sickly.

Agree. It staggers me that after 10 years of lies, f***-ups, disprespect and spitefulness, people still believe this man will change. Spot on. Why can't we enjoy Rafa signing but also campaign for Ashley to f*** off and die? I'm so disillusioned with both Ashley and the majority of our fanbase that I'm struggling to give a f*** even if Rafa does sign. Yeah, it would still give me a kick if he did, but knowing what our club is about under Ashley just doesn't sit with me. I can't enjoy it 100% as long as that c*** is here. Same reason it was hard to enjoy finishing 5th, in addition to Pardew of course.

Once everyone has renewed, Neil Warnock will be unveiled wearing a crown.

Shay Given chilling out behind him

As much as i dislike Sissoko and Gini, I think I have to give it to Saylor. Always gives it the Billy big bollocks pre-game and is more often than not the one who fucks it all up during the game.

Wonder what their fans make of this

ISIS pissing themselves right now. The Mancunian branch is called OISIS.

He could be brilliant under Rafa if he manages to stay free of injury.
