It baffles me that people can say this when Ashley literally put himself on TV for the first time last year because he was shitting himself over season ticket renewals. That's all it was. If done in larger numbers it can and most likely will make a difference. Accept mediocrity and become it. In our case it's worse than that.
  2. Good riddance to all of the scum in our team.
  3. Something about advertising Sports Direct through us in the far east I think.
  4. let's be honest, most people who go will probably be cheering the players because they're dead loyal!!! This is the problem now tbh. 10 years ago our fans would have given them some major stick but now because of the media and other supporters plugging away at us over time, we seem more worried about not coming across as having "unrealistic expectations". Mission accomplished by them tbh because we've dropped big time in stature since Ashley got here and lowered our expectations even more.
  5. Haven't enjoyed football since Hughton was here tbh. The 2011-2012 season had its moments obviously but still felt like a dark cloud was cast over the club.
  6. Never realized Evertonia were this bad. They could be in some right trouble next season.

  8. I can avoid this quite easily by reminding myself that it was likely that Ashley would f*** him over sooner rather than later. Can't argue with that. It's still astounding he fucked up Keegan coming back, someone who was his choice.
  9. Another 10 years of what ifs now.
  10. Viduka having a perfectly good goal disallowed didn't help but yea, it was a gutless showing.
  11. Knew that was gonna go in. Fuck football.
  12. Definitely heard that one in the pub I take it? There was a thread about it on here if I'm not mistaken.
  13. This is the typical NUFC way. Honestly, if this happens maybe more people will open their eyes to the clowns in charge. Not so sure to be honest. There's people I've talked to at work where they said they thought Rafa was a terrible appointment and would have preferred Moyes or Pearson
  14. This is what I was getting at in a previous post. We need to have the fans all pulling in the same direction and really get at the throat of Ashley and his set up until he gets the message and sells up. For as much stick as they get from some quarters I think Liverpool fans are a brilliant example of what can be achieved if you keep plugging away. Back when we were protesting against the likes of Shepherd and Souness it was basically for one, two matches tops and then that was it. It needs to be relentless until something is achieved.
  15. Pardew: I'd like to think I was the one who helped him find his form and produce that extra bit of magic when we needed it.
  16. The only protest that will make any difference is a large cheque. What we think doesn't bother him in the slightest. His only aim is getting as much as his money back as he can. If so why do these interviews and not just carry on regardless? The prospect of nobody renewing their season tickets last year really made him shit a house. For him to go live on TV at that stage of the season showed he'd hit the panic button.
  17. I'm pretty much in the same boat. It's already been 3 years since I last went to a match and I don't intend to go back until Ashley has left the club and we have an owner in place who we can trust.
  18. I think when it comes to protesting we really need to have everyone pulling in the same direction. In the past our protests against the mismanagement of our club have barely ever had an impact because the crowd is always split. I think the one thing that MOST of our support can agree on however is that Mike Ashley is the source of all of our problems. Something needs to be done to get this slimy scumbag out of here once and for all.
  19. Gutless tbh. There have literally been games when half of us didn't even know he was playing until the game was approaching half time. Add in the fact that he came out and had a go at his team mates for not showing any fight was cowardly of him considering he's one of the worst culprits of the lot.
  20. Are we the only team in the league not to beat Villa this season? Brings back memories of Derby walking over us under Allarshyte.
