Fat Sam over Benitez man. Your water been tampered with or something?
-
It's quite scary to think that some people actually would

Stranger things have happened to be fair. I don't think any of us could have predicted Keegan returning, or Joe Kinnear being appointed at the other end of the spectrum

The most 'shambolic preseason' I've ever witnessed was followed by promotion with 102 points tbf. That was a league lower, when teams could still romp through it though. Not exactly the same in comparison.

People should have walked away 5-6 years ago. The camels back has been broken, p*ssed on, set on fire, decomposed, fed to another camel and broken again. Personally, I haven't contributed a penny to the club for years, and won't until it is under better ownership. I have had debates on here with a few who were going on about how the football was better, that we were in a better position now, the players were better, McClaren far better than Pardew etc etc where it was plainly obvious even within preseason that massive problems lie ahead - said then wait and see even though it was so obvious it was unreal. Been saying for a while that every person who attends and puts a penny into the fat c***s pocket derserves everything that is currently happening as this club has been a sinking ships for years. People who attend don't now try and play the 'we don't deserve this card' - sorry you do. Agreed. It's not exactly anything personal against those who choose to go out of love for the club and what it once stood for, but the fact that they can't see that their being there is actually helping Mike Ashley and lining his pockets means we'll be stuck under his ownership longer than we could or should be. For example right now we have a team who don't give 2 shits about the fans, so why even pay to turn up and support them in the masses? It screams battered wives syndrome tbh.

Can't argue with this. It was very Pardew-esque of him.
-
He's still our best option regardless of whether we stay up or not so we should be at least approaching him.
-
Probably just gone to get the McDonalds breakfasts in.
-
Good luck with that "Lee has been trying to contact Jose non stop over the past 48 hours but he never seems to answer his phone." Should ask Joe Kinnear if he has the right number.

What a bunch of pathetic drones Slagging us off for booing when losing at home to Bournemouth while 19th in the league, patting themselves on the back for being cheery and not blaming the manager for a 12 game (2 and a half month) winless streak Can't wait to see how many of those change their tune next season when it gets even worse

Implies he has guts. I reckon his chest would open and a little weird Ashley head would pop out like that bloke whose heart packs in in the Thing. http://i.imgur.com/AtnMC3L.png

I think you're giving the board too much credit there.

We should be pushing the boat out for Rafa. All he can do is say no, but as always we have no ambition when it comes to managers. Joe Kinnear round 3 looking likely if anything at all.
-
I think a lot of it is just people playing it safe tbh when they say rubbish like nobody else could come in and do a better job or such and such needs time to turn it around, whether it's media figures or fans of the club. We got a lot of stick for wanting shite managers out in the last decade, tarred with the unrealistic expectations brush, and it seems nobody wants to give outsiders ammunition they need to take pops at us again. Surely Rob Lee can't be so thick as to imply nobody could turn it around when Keegan, a manager he played for in the following seasons came into our club twice as manager and saved us from the drop with less than half of the season remaining.

Was gonna say this last night. It really boggles the mind
-
go on then. What do you suggest? Well I'm full against this idea. We need to support the team and not the regime. Things were much worse when I used to p*ss myself on the terraces in the 80s anyway. You youngsters don't even know what true dispair is. He's not even that bad. It's those foreign players we should blame. Don't forget the balance sheets.
-
Only we could spend 80m in one season and still struggle to put out a back line. Fucking ridonculous.
-
Fuck this team, fuck McClanger and his wobbly face.
