  1. http://www.trophy4toon.co.uk/pictures/Derek_llambias_newcastle_2.jpg A Hammers fan. Explains it all, really. He looks sinister. I want Mort back. He was nice (hmmm, that sounds more fruity than I'd like :colo:)
  2. Llambias could be a character from 'The League of Gentlemen' He's repugnant.
  3. As someone has already mentioned, it's like we're all going to think, "Wooooh, look at all those facts. Sorry, we'll be quiet now." Fools.
  4. If they think that is going to appease the fans, they've got another thing coming. That statement is antagonistic in the extreme. Arrogant bastards the lot of 'em.
  5. Does anyone else think that this could be a sign that we've already been sold? Maybe I'm clutching at straws.
  6. i would say the opposite, with morale at an all time low, and the fans after ashley, any buyer will see it as an opportunity to make a reduced offer so ashley can make a quick exit. Exactly. If Ashley was holding out for £350m before, the thought of getting his head kicked in if he ever steps out in public in Newcastle might make him lower his price to a more reasonable figure now. made me laugh that bit. you're right though MA: Dennis, Dennis, someone wants to kick me head in. DW: Don't worry, I'll sort 'em out. Who is it? MA: Newcastle DW: Oh
  7. I'd like Deschamps myself. I remember getting pretty excited last time, when Keegan came instead. I reckon it'll still be McDermott in two weeks like.
  8. When Ambani takes over, I think it could be Bob Houghton. He's sure got an illustrious CV: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Houghton Walking in a Houghton Wonderland!
  9. Billy Davies, Chris Hutchings, Little Sam, Big Sam, Steve Bruce all went last season. The Premier League is a pirhana tank regardless...
  10. Club statement at 12.13am. thought it was 12.14am He can't afford to walk. The bottom line is the bottom line - Soccer Circus is dying on its arse and he's skint. you're his accountant are u? or do u just believe the southern press? No, I believe company accounts posted at Companies House. Soccer Circus turned over 270k (that's TURNED OVER) in its first year of trading - a sad and pathetic figure considering the millions it cost to set up. How can that be? It's Scotland's most popular Football Birthday Party venue.
  11. Llambias' head will be on the ramparts tomorra, at Keegan's behest.
  12. Just heard on Talksport that Keegan has been appointed Newcastle Manager! Oh.
  13. Sounds like David Craig. He's got the easiest job in the world. He just has to make up one lie every hour. Pimpsy that like
  14. Wasn't that exactly what Ashley did with us? Yes he did, SSN making out as if the title will goto city now this takeover has happened, Surely man city have spent on par with the top 4 the last 2 seasons already, cant see whats changed other than the owners not being wanted men. Nothing will change in the short term, but the Arabian business journalist on SSN said "Think of Chelsea and times it by ten" in terms of wealth and investment potential. Doesn't bear thinking about.
  15. I expect Ameobi to leave today. Viduka will probably leave next summer (his contract expires and I doubt he'll get a new one), and if Owen doesn't sign his new contract offer then so will he. I think maybe playing him on saturday was a push for him to move either on loan or permanent move to Ipswich. After Saturday's performance, he's more likely to get either a loan or permanent move to Droitwich.
  16. Totally against. It was supposed to protect the smaller clubs, but to me, it has the opposite effect. Teams like Man Utd and Chelsea have squads that are more than able to cope with injuries. If we got a few injuries to key players, we'd be knacked. What's fair about that? Before the window was introduced, we'd be able to get in reasonable replacements if necessary. It is exciting like, but I'd rather it was scrapped
  17. Never mind Owen. I love your clip of Ashley necking that lager.
  18. Agree 100% Me too. I don't think he sees it like this though.
  19. I'm pretty sure we have players who will come in swiftly to replace him too. Who? Players like Owen are notoriously difficult to replace. Man Utd still haven't managed to successfully replace Van Nistelrooy, which is why they're desperate for Berbatov.
  20. It's from the Daily Star. Just about Per Ciljan Skjelbred. Nothing we've not heard before. Sorry, wrong thread.
  21. It's from the Daily Star. Just about Per Ciljan Skjelbred. Nothing we've not heard before.
  22. Sell him, but only if we've got other players coming in
  23. Dong Fangzhuo on a 'Sibierski'?? I know nowt about him, but he's just been released by Man Utd, and we're desperate for strikers.
