I mentioned this yonks ago. I was laughed at for suggesting such a thing. People for get ashley is all about making cash from various lines of business. Nudging fans to spend a bit more on names and numbers is right up ashleys street. SD always try to get you to buy a mug, a bag or a catalog. When you buy from SD online the SD catalogue is auto added to your basket, you have to manually remove it. The blank back is there on purpose. Nope, it's not a thing. Southampton don't, sunderland don't. West Brom have never had it whilst they've had their thick normal stripes. We're the only ones who seem to insist on it for some reason. These images show that the variations in colours dont make it difficult or any more difficult to read. Stoke http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/12/12/article-2073311-0F2416D100000578-813_468x286.jpg West Brom http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02389/Peter_Odemwingie_2389482b.jpg Aye, its pretty much just us... fat Mick probably thinks its a way to force fans to get names and/or numbers on instead of having a plain back to the shirt. I don't even think its a puma/manufacturer thing, as we had the same sort of blank back panel in the last few years with Adidas too.

Yep, the pre season just drifted on and on with nothing from the club, the season started and Hughton was just left to run it. I would bet they didnt even have a meeting it was just a quick phone call "can you manage it?" . This is whats going to happen after this season and the start of next season. It will be left to drift and Carver will start the season as manager/coach/lickspittle/cockroach/gremlin/antifootballtroll.

Nothing left to give.

Don't even think there will be a statement, he will just be left in charge "until further notice" and we won't hear anything all Summer. The bloke wants to be ashamed of himself. Exactly this. Not even a mention and they will carry on regardless. Thats exactly what happened when Hughton was left to pick up the pieces.

he runs nufc by the same model as SD. Run the club on the bare minimum, buy cheap assets (players). Move any asset on that looks to be increasing in value and repeat. Why chase titles or cups when by purely existing in the league brings in silly money. All that has to be done is avoid relegation.

yeah if the mask is a brick.

How to motivate players by John Carver.

Watched motd this morning. That "warm conditions" comment. Fcking hell man, it's English spring weather and the conditions were the same for qpr who seemed to give a f*** despite being already relegated.

Leave Carver in Wallsend Park and we have a chance. -
Does ashley own Converse now? Noticed it being advertised at the last match.

By that logic, whats the point in Chelsea having a top manager in Morinho, when they could make a massive saving by sacking him and appointing Paul Ince...

Lungs defalted again? Must have been smoking his tabs filled with iron fillings.

Such utter failures throughout the club.

I dont think it matters if we stay up or get relegated it will be more of the same
-
Another one saying we should basically carry on as is. Nah, I dont think so.

I don't think it really washes in our situation at all. We're talking about one of the biggest football clubs in Europe being held down to the level of a Fulham or Hull. Surely any sensible person would expect much more than that. Apparently not.
