Exactly...the "failure" was not investing in a more proficient centre forward, hardly Rafa`s fault Agree, I understand people's frustration with certain players but it feels misdirected to me. You are right what you say you get what you pay for but to say Joselu has been anything other than a failure is bollocks IMO. Like I said I didn't know much about him before he signed but he was worse than I expected, therefore IMO he is a failure. Would you class him as a success? Has he successfully scored us goals which he was brought into do?? He's par for the course given what we've paid. Scores the odd goal has the odd good moment which is about what 6 million gets for a striker in this day and age. He plays for a side which doesn't suit his limited ability and doesn't score many either by the way. Yeah I know all that, so that makes him a success?

I've said my bit on this. What do you do if your son/daughter wants and enjoys going to the match? They don't know how much of a knob Ashley is and to be honest they probably don't care. I honestly admire people who boycott games particularly those with season tickets. If Ashley is still here next season I will stop going as will my son. He will be gutted though, he just wants to see Newcastle play football.

Just seen this, absolutely no need to apologise. I agree with a lot of what you say and think you are a cracking poster. Was thinking about it last night, the thing is at the moment he enjoys going, he still gets the buzz from the ground and when we get a result or a decent performance like yesterday (very seldom) he leaves the ground buzzing.. Woukd be interested to know how many people have season tickets and don't go. Also doesn't count if you sell your ticket to a mate I do admire and applaud all the folk who stop away mind I just think it makes little difference as for a lot of people (me included) it's more of a day out thing than going to watch the match. Hopefully there will be more organised protests / boycotts which we can all get behind.

Whilst sitting at the match today with about 80 mins gone I began to think how much stick I would be giving to Pardew etc for not making a sub... I love Rafa but I am unfortunately asking myself is he the best man for the job... I feel like shit because I know we couldn't get better but can't help but feel Rafa could and should be doing better..
