  1. No axe to grind with Sunderland, but honestly, that's the worst team to get promoted in years. I'm going with a sub 15 point relegation.
  2. Ah shit, goal music. STOP THE MATCH.
  3. Yeah, you're not allowed to call them 'weeks' any more. It's wokery gone mad.
  4. It is supposed to mimic the Selfridges building in Brum. Seriously. So I doubt it's the same bubbles ;-) Unless someone at Adidas really is god's gift to marketing.
  5. Yeah but no home yet. After years of shirt manufacturers unable to get our kit out for people to actually buy until into the next season (were Castore like that for you too?) finally, the kidz can get their new gear to wear on holiday. As for the away shirt, I really like it. It's nice and simple.
  6. After all, it was so much less horrible to watch with those three fit Congratulations, though.
  7. There was literally zero possible pleasing outcome from this game. For me, I wanted Spurs to win**, demoralising Man U as much as possible for Sunday, and ideally after penalties. Didn't get the latter bit, but I am glad there will be no trophy parading positivity Sunday, just more unhappiness. ** now about to vomit up most of my internal organs.
  8. Goal difference says you have to match it, in effect, no need to better. It's good that Forest still have something to play for against Chelsea, too.
  9. Good to see you on Friday night, Tooney, glad you enjoyed the lap of honour, too. I think you were crying even more than Martinez at the end, there. Don't worry, you'll be back next season.
  10. I have been thinking about this a lot, and I think it suits us better for Spurs to win it for largely that reason. Don't want any silverware high on Sunday. Honestly, though, it is gut wrenching one of two sides as SHIT as those two is going to get into the Champions League (not to mention win a European trophy along the way).
  11. I thought you were decent today and Arsenal couldn't really have complained if they'd shared the points (or lost, tbh).
  12. Yes, they've done a good job getting into that position, even using the loan system with the current obvious examples.
  13. We've played 7 matches in 19 days, including a CL quarter final both ties. It's frankly miraculous we've put together such a good run.
  14. We spent 3 months unable to defend, didn't manage a clean sheet in ages - at least in part because we were injuieies decimated at centre half.
  15. How weird is this fixture? It seems to rotate between one side giving the other a twatting, usually going with home form, but even so, it's fucking weird. If i were a betting man - and I am - I wouldn't bet on this fixture, not ever.
  16. Nah, they deserve it over the two legs. The fact that we pushed the best side in Europe at the moment so close, though. Jesus. Last time i went to a EC QF at Villa Park was 1983, and we lost against Juventus, the best side I've ever seen in the flesh. PSG aren't quite that good, but they are a phenomenal side this season. Hope they win it.
  17. Absolutely fucking proud of that performance, what fucking guts. PSG are so good, i hope they win it. But fuck, what a ride, what a ride.
  18. "North London Forever" = super cringe.
  19. What a team they are. Sometimes you lose and you just can't complain. TBH we did well to keep it to 2-1 until the death. 2-1 and it's not the end of the world, still alive. 3-1 and it's not dead, but unless we score at least 1 and ideally 2 early goals next week, it's over. I think in that form and that mood last night, they'd have beaten anyone. If we go out, I really hope they win it.
  20. I didn't mean this. I AM SCARED.
  21. I see Real on their way out. I tell you this, we are winning this thing. There are too many little strokes of luck for it not to happen.
  22. If we hadn't spent a third of this season not even bothering to try to defend, we'd be sitting pretty now. We've got a full squad back now, and are still alive in two cups, which is great, and that's 7 wins in a row in all competitions, but I still feel we've probably left it too late in the league.
  23. Jesper Olsen is probably better in nets than our Olsen, tbh.
  24. Our bench tonight: Olsen, Disasi, Mings, Maatsen, Garcia, Asensio, Onana, Malen, Watkins. I don't think we've ever had a stronger bench, and after a season of injury decimation, we've got almost everyone fit at just the right time. And having said that, we'll put in a shit performance against Brighton, because, well, Villa.
