As if ANYONE rejects ANYONE to go to that 1980s throwback of a club.

He's a good player. He's also a cunt, as proven by past behaviour, but I would take this shit in The Sun with an enormous side order of salt. Nothing is happening in this transfer window. They need to find something to write about.

You can talk, with your fancy French login. Cheese eating surrender monkey.

All started by Newcastle fans . But, I will be voting no, of course. Quite enjoy the banter with newcastle fans, you're generally a good bunch to talk to. There did used to be one who wasn't massively welcoming, mind.

Seriously, I dont use other football forums, but i liek this one because the standard of debate and knowledge is very high and there are a lot of non NUFC fans posting frequently here. I think the non NUFC lot might piss me off a bit if i were a newcastle fan, and try not to overdo it, which i am sure the other foreigners do as well.

KD and MJ are alright. They both put up with a lot of pisstake, but they're both sound, really. And I'm not a particular fan of Spurs fans (whenever Ive come across them in real life). You can't make big sweeping judgements about hundreds of people, though. Except for Man United fans. They're all cunts, no exceptions. None.

We already have Darius Henderson who is like that! Totally off the topic, but does Sir Graham Taylor get seen at your matches much, GG? Not that I know of, not mentioned on GH, nor have I seen him from the little I can see of the East Stand. We all know when Elton's there (songs etc.) so I'd guess there'd be the same for Taylor, but I don't think he's there too often. May be wrong though. Is he still loved? We still love him, despite the poor second coming (pay attention, our Geordie friends ).
-
No it isn't, it is very simple. Paul Merson outlined it on Sky recently when talking about someone who was rumoured to be joining Boro. Stelling (or similar Sky monkey) asked him why the mentioned player would consider Boro. Merse said "For the same reason anyone goes there, for the money. That's why players go there. I know it is why I went".

What kind of goal return do you expect from an 18 year old who has made a sum total of 9 league starts? I think you're being a bit harsh on the lad.

Carew is one of the fastest players at the club. People think he's slow as he's so big, but he's not.
-
Apparently one of the Prem clubs to show an interest are only interested if they can play him on the right. Hmmm, Young - Agbonlahor - Carew - Walcott. That's what you call a mobile front four.

Over 1000 empty seats in the away end when they played at our place this season, which isn't really what you expect from a relatively nearby club, with lots of local gloryhunters, who've won almost everything in recent years. And those that turned up sat on their arses for the 90 minutes. Maybe I'm just used to ours always standing away, but I associated away fans who sit with not really being bothered too much. Chelsea were much better when they had a shit ground and no money in the 80s, they used to bring loads and make a lot of noise. They've gone downhill.

But Arsenal's reserves aren't like, say, Portsmouth's reserves, are they? It is so difficult to sign players in January, that any manager would be mad to disagree on principle with loans at this point. I'm not that bothered about Walcott, but if someone offered me, say, Eduardo for the rest of the season so we could look for a permanent striker in the easier summer window, I'd snap their hands off. I'd also think that loan options for KK, with him just having dropped at short notice into the job halfway through the window, would make even more sense.

Pretty poor at Villa from what I saw. Nothing but a Championship player. Roy Keane is abysmal in the transfer market. Pretty mediocre. MON opted to continue with no recognised RB rather than keep him.
-
As in edgar? He looks a right pussy. Yeah, just punch him in the face and those stupid sunglasses will splinter and blind him.

The Birmingham City team of the early to mid 1980s were surely the best selection of pub brawlers ever. Mark Dennis Noel Blake Mick Harford Tony Coton Pat Van Den Hauwe Robert Hopkins (now a senior 'Zulu' hooligan)

Pretty sure Villa don't. Could be wrong like. You're right, we don't. I think there were 4 or so clubs who didn't before this signing. Your right Villa, Derby County, Fulham and Manchester City. I will have to re-read World Soccer. It cant find what I read. It was an article with a picture of Fegie with this chap. I am guessing it must have said every premier league club now has a African palyer: Villa:Moustapha Salifou Fulham:Gabriel Zakuani & Hameur Bouazza Man City:Kelvin Etuhu Derby:Mohammed Camara Salifou (who has played a total of 60 seconds for us, at the end of the Reading match, in which he managed to lose his man and gift Reading a goal, and has his own song 'Sali Salifou' to the tune of Daddy Cool by Boney M, but I digress) is from Togo, who aren't at the ANC. But yes, he's our single African. I know that Togo are not there, I must have read every team now has a African

Yes. We've got previous with Columbian strikers from River Plate, as well. Although to be fair, JPA had one fantastic season and was in many ways a victim of wrong place, wrong time. The same Argentinian paper which got the Angel transfer spot on when everyone else got it wrong is calling this one now, so it is a good source. I'm just glad to be linked with someone. Is this the most BORING transfer window ever?
-
Villa linked with Radamel Falcao Garcia of River Plate. Luke Moore linked with Rangers.

Petrov's main problem since coming down from the SPL has been that he always wants too much time on the ball. Maloney apparently injured himself in the warm-up, which is unfortunate. Petrov when played on the right tends to drift into the middle a little too much. Reo-Coker was immense last night, he was everywhere - he's put in more successful tackles than any other player in the league according to the Actim stats, and you could see it last night, he does such an important job in that holding role. He'll get the players in, it is just difficult in January. Incidentally, great to see the much maligned Marlon score again last night.

Not surprised at all - watched the recording, and they played as well as any team I've seen play Liverpool at Anfield ; very competitive, always after the second ball(one of our biggest failings) and very unlucky not to have won - are all the knockers ready to surrender about MON yet !?? STILL think Allardyce is better !!..... I thought we played as poorly as we have all season in the first half last night, but were much better in the second. One thing I love is that we've got incredible team spirit. I never think we're going to lose matches, and I don't think the players do either. If we can strengthen in this window then Europe could be on. We have now only lost one away match since February 2007 - if we avoid defeat at Fulham on Feb 3rd, that will be one away loss in an entire year. Impressive.

Berger is still an excellent player, scored our goal of the season last year, he is just never fit. Baros is a fat waster who likes the booze far, far too much.
