I thought Marveaux was supposed to be a creative, attacking player. If his job isn't to score goals and create chances for others I have no idea what his role is.

I'm not basing my opinion of Marveaux on this game. I'm basing it on his whole (admittedly injury interrupted until this season) NUFC career. He doesn't have much impact on games. He rarely scores and he doesn't create many chances for others. I don't hate him, I just don't think it would be that hard to replace him with a player who would produced more for us.

I wouldn't complain if Marveaux was sold in the Summer. For what he brings to our team I don't think he'd be that difficult to replace. He just doesn't seem to have much impact on games.

I can only remember him having the one real chance yesterday. We need to create more chances for Cissé as he isn't scoring with every chance this season. Other players need to score more goals too. I think I read we are the only team left in the Premiership with a defender who hasn't scored this season. We do need another decent striker in the Summer too. We can't go with just Cissé and Ameobi (I'm not sure if Gouffran is a striker or a forward player) again.

Would you have confused him with Cabaye? No but I would have confused Cabaye with Debuchy from the same distance.

That was MYM Was it? In my defense, they both look similar from 150 metres away. I assumed it was Haïdara as MYM had already been playing. I suppose it makes sense as he'd only been on a couple of minutes.

He spent half time doing a full warm up on the pitch with one of the coaching staff. I thought he must be coming on at the start of the second half. That's what usually happens when a player is out on the pitch at half time.

Mackems will say Pardew is a disgrace if he won the fight against O'Neill. If O'Neill won it will be a sign of how classy he is. One of my favourite Pardew moments was his foul mouthed volley at O'Neill during last seasons NUFC vs SAFC game.

People still going on about Fraser Forster? He said he didn't want to stay at NUFC if he was going to be second choice. Get over it, he's long gone.

I'm sorry but once again he did nothing of note. He doesn't do enough in the team for me. Having said that, he should have taken the corners and free kicks as Cabaye's were awful.
