They'd never shut up about that injury time, disallowed, "equalising" goal against Burton if that's what sent them down.

Are Sunderland to Fulham what Blackburn were to NUFC in the Championship?

Has Mitrović ever scored a hat-trick? https://www.whoscored.com/Players/115279/Show/Aleksandar-Mitrovic Who writes this shit? Not Rafa that's for sure.

Newcastle United v West Bromwich Albion - 28/04/18 - 3pm

West Brom have really picked up since binning Pardew so this could be a tough game. http://www.nufc.com/ -
Slimani was apparently Rafa's 4th choice for a striker in January so I doubt it's certain he wants to buy him. Kenedy has done well for us but I think some people are over rating him. 2 goals (in the same game) and 2 assists isn't exactly the sort of form which makes Champions League teams interested. As for people saying he'll cost more than £25m, that's crazy money for what he has shown so far.

However it "looks" it was obviously a brainless thing to do.

Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan
LoveItIfWeBeatU replied to Kaizero's topic in Football
If Ashley wants £400m for NUFC that shouldn't mean he sits on his hands doing nothing with the club, waiting through the transfer window to see if anyone is interested. That's what he's done previously. As I understand it, the club accounts are okay (especially after the minimum spend this season). Run the club properly, don't spend more money than we have (or are guaranteed to get - We knew we'd be getting £100m+ so why we weren't allowed to spend any in advance didn't make sense). Give Rafa a reasonable budget. If someone or a group come along to buy the club then negotiate with them. If Ashley wants to add any costs of transfers on top so be it. I'd rather he did that than do nothing and still not sell anyway. -
Lashing out off the ball won't impress Rafa. Lucky he got away with it. He wouldn't get away with that in a Newcastle shirt.

Damn it, I forgot to listen. I'll catch it on BBC iPlayer later: - https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06388g1#play

Shame on Sunderland for being so fucking shit then All those away fans coming to visit and or stay in Newcastle when their team are playing Sunderland. Their relegation will probably hurt the city of Newcastle by reducing away fan visits to Newcastle. I doubt League 1 fans travel in the same numbers as Premiership or Championship club fans. RTG will now look on their relegation as a positive. Typical spiteful Sunderland. I've lived and worked outside the NE. Never once been in an office where the conversation's gone something like: WBCP: "Up to owt at the weekend then, Sharon? Sharon: "Yeah, since you ask. My husband, the kids and I are off to Sunderland. We looked on TripAdvisor and saw there's got a big swimming pool and a glass centre. It looks good to eat there, too. They've got a Greggs next door to another Greggs! We're so excited!" It's a shame the city of Sunderland don't spend as much trying to improve themselves as they do sniping at the city of Newcastle. A strong and vibrant North East would be good for all of us.

It's a good read. Who wouldn't want to buy a League 1 club with £100m+ debt? "Buy us on the cheap, loads of land around the stadium ripe for development." Yes because land in Sunderland is in high demand. Maybe they could build some high end apartment blocks for rich Russians to buy? Someone gives him a reality check regarding Sunderland property prices later in the thread.

Loads more distractions for kids today. Most seem more interested in watching YouTube videos and playing 'Fortnite' on their games console than kicking a ball about with friends.

Jinxed it from the start, didn’t they? It's a hilarious read with hindsight. Some of my favourites: - "Stop being silly Boro won't finish 24th" "Mags Out of Business" "The mags will never ever ever ever ever ever ever EVER finish mid table this season. You people have to stop with this shit."

So does that mean he has retired from playing then or is he going to be player/manager?
