Can’t wait until the day he fucks off. Shame as I used to love him and thought he’d be one of those iconic players we’d look back on fondly. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but shame we done that deal with forest to save our arses for PSR instead of shipping him off to the Ryanair Reds. The form he has shown for nearly 18 months now, the only club on Merseyside he’d get a game for now is Tranmere.

The one signing that had a few on here questioning it in the summer and he’s been unreal. Probably the only player that has improved our starting 11 from last season also, which is disappointing considering how much we spent overall. I bore myself saying it, but I really hope we abandon the expensive PL marker and look abroad more.

Half way to the rat’s tally already

Fulham the only team worse than us confiding late goals. Twice in about 6 weeks now at SJP. Thought the game was dull and it seemed like another game where it could go on another hour and we wouldn’t score, so it was a nice surprise we did.
-
Thought the atmosphere was poor - was sat in level 4. Not helped by the game being pretty dull but still poor. Some people, and I mean a lot of people really, pay to go in there and sit in pure silence for 90 odd minutes. What enjoyment do they get?

I think it’s been brewing for a while. The late goals we’ve conceded, the capitulation at Brentford, West Ham and Marseille, the poor performances and results on the road…..a big game like Sunday was always going to be a bit of a sliding doors moment. Another piss poor defeat against them seagull shagging cunts. Don’t think it’s “little”, but do agree there’s been head loss.

Was one of my favourite seasons following us tbh, if not favourite. First full season after the takeover, everyone buzzing, the team continuing to exceed expectations. The atmosphere in the ground was great most of the season as well. Since then, whilst we can argue the team has regressed and the reasons for it, we as supporters have also regressed.

I’ve never known us go after sides at home like we have done under Howe prior to this season. Not content with 2/3 goals and going out to score more and more. That Burnley game would’ve been a cricket score last season or the season before. Hope we can go back to that.
-
Rule in place about moving in the same window or something - read earlier on Twitter. Would’ve been nice if they’d slipped up and got booted out (as if that would ever happen to them)
-
A 40 million player signed from the Premier League so that they settle quicker than a potentially cheaper player from overseas also. Mental.
-
Can’t wait for Hey Jude to blast at ear splitting volume tomorrow whilst 15% of the crowd join in with it. And then the awful version of Blaydon Races blasted that no cunt joins in with. At least it motivates the players. Maybe we’ll get some effort from them tomorrow.

I know it’s been said loads but the fact Ramsey cannot get on the pitch ahead of Joe fucking Willock, who has a heart the size of a bastard pea, on derby day speaks volumes.
-
Bang on. Some of the people wanting checks were season ticket holders with a very small numbers of points - they’ve had years and years to build it and not done so. Gone now are the days of getting offered a ticket on the way down if travelling ticketless as people are too skitzy.
-
Iraola done great at Bournemouth but I want this mush nowhere near us.
-
I don’t like that mind, someone who signs up for a membership getting a ticket over someone who didn’t quite have the right number of points. I had loads of points on my old season ticket, they stand for nothing now. What about a ballot for members with a certain amount of historical points? I’m not saying that as a way to help me out, just feel if you’re giving members access to away tickets there should be something to ensure they’re not going to someone on their first year, who’s never been to a game or show interest before. I thought the old system was fine. Loyalty points but with no checks. Wasn’t the fairest way obviously but generally speaking, if you wanted to go to an away game you would be able to get a ticket. Appreciate it isn’t ideal but unsure what is now. You’re going to piss off a vast number of people whatever the change.
-
Well said re NUST. Different people now but the self serving bastards at the time have blood on their hands when it comes to our away support being shite now. Yet it’s interesting to see them flouting the rules they played a part in bringing in midweek in Germany. They have made it even more of a closed shop, which was what they were trying to unlock in the first place.
-
I’m sure last season we went through a stage of coming out second half and playing shite, conceding goals. Because iirc Howe made a thing about it in the final at half time to ensure we don’t slip.

Memories of Bournemouth last seasons
-
Thats what disappointed me like, was like we just turned up and went through the motions. Be interesting to see what happens at SJP. Still feels like a lifetime away.
-
Got to admit it isn’t exactly the “gotcha” they think considering they haven’t done it on our turf
-
Hope Howe reads this and it gives him a sense of realisation
-
Would be nice if it was but it won’t be sadly. Wednesday will be the same we’ve seen all season. It’s the same every week in the hope something different happens, even though he literally said “we cannot do the same thing and hope for a different response”.
-
This is it. The Derby is their cup final (not saying that in a patronising way), and they get one over us every time now it seems as their attitude towards the game is far different to ours.
-
Would a red card have even made a difference? They’d have just went into the lowest of low blocks. Might have drawn 0-0 but we wouldn’t have scored in a month of Sundays yesterday. I cannot believe how predictable, low, sloppy and generally pathetic we look
-
Most likely. My mate was saying how he wanted them to win the play off final and then when I text him yesterday reminding him of this, he told me he was too nervous to watch it so sat doing something else with airplane mode on his phone. How fun derby day is.
