I sat and watched the Dundee v Queen of the South game on BBC Alba with Gaelic commentary. Now I don't speak Gaelic but I thought it was f***ing hilarious. I've just learned that the Gaelic word for penalty is penis. The referee gave Dundee a penalty in the last minute but changed his mind on the linesman's advice. The commentary went something like this - "Penis! Penis Dundee! Heedora hydora handball penis! Hoochter machoocter referee Mike Tumilty fuchty consultation foochter linesman...NO PENIS! DUNDEE NO PENIS!"

Forest still need a miracle so it's getting better by the week. Dundee getting pumped fae Raith is giving me a hearty chuckle aswell.

He's a good ball mover. A water carrier if you like. He's got a good touch and rarely gives the ball away but finding a place for him in a 4-4-2 is a bit of a quandry. I like him though.

At Dundee United we sing "Love Is In The Air" and "Beautiful Sunday". The reasons are totally fucking random. Songs that were played over the tannoy after victories at Tannadice and they just caught on.

I didn't think the pressing looked right when we didn't have the ball especially in the first half. We pressed the first man reasonably well but there was no real pressure on their outball. I appreciate you don't want to leave gaps in behind but usually with three in the centre you expect better. As a result they dictated the play and held the ball better and we generally made them look better than they actually are imho. Anyway, off the hook and a couple of home games coming up.

The local councils probably haven't realised that it's been snowing yet. Up here the gritters are out the second there's even a possibility of freezing temperatures let alone snow.

Why hasn't the area been gritted?

Snow on our pitch will not be a problem, we've got heating under the grass. Will that not waterlog it though? I thought undersoil heating was for frozen pitches, not pitches covered in snow. They'd need to clear the snow first.
