  1. Eh? he was being praised by them for leading by example when they won 6 out of 7 games 1-0 a few weeks ago. Has stepped up to the plate as captain, apparently. loads of mancs on redcafe think he's on a pretty steep decline and a shadow of what he was. from an outside perspective i think he's looked pretty good, especially going forward, in recent matches. However most Man Utd fans on these forums are from places like Kenya and Korea and don't know what they're talking about. Nee offence oldtype. Don't take offense from any of that other than the fact that you've grouped Korea with Kenya for some reason Korean Man United "fans" are a horrible race of inbred cretins. I should know better than most.
  2. I've been thinking for a moment what the worst-case scenario starting lineup would be Krul Simpson Williamson Coloccini Raylor Obertan Cabye Tiote Jonas Ameobi Ba I'll be screaming bloody murder if he actually picks this

    Sunderland...

Gah, okay, we're on a bad run, they're on a good run. It's depressing. Let's put away the nooses and razor blades though please.
  4. f*** sake. Obertan fit, Rooney back with a point to prove and Man U's number 12's 'impartiallity' as well. This match is going to be nothing but a disaster. and of all those perceived negatives Webb is probably the greatest. Regularly f***s us over and is s*** scared of Ferguson too, just like the rest of them. Yep. Must w*** himself to sleep knowing that disallowing Viduka's goal vs Fulham was just about the final nail in the coffin of sending us down. Aye because his clanger earlier in the season FOR us was meaningless...... Which one? Saylor dive to rescue a point at home v mackems Letting the cheating, diving c*** Larsson take the lace out of the ball on the goal line this season probably evened this one up. That was more his gutless lino tbh he can argue he didnt have a great view whereas the yesman couldnt have had a better one. Its pointless anyway you can go on all day about various mistakes but i was just replying to the stupid notion he wanted to make it as it was us. Even if he didn't dislike Newcastle his fear of Ferguson will ensure we get nowt tomorrow. It'll probably be more because of the fact that they're an infinitely superior team.
  5. Ah well, might as well have them be full strength. It's not as if we'll beat them just because they have Carrick playing at centerback and Valencia and Park in center midfield.
  6. Two days before the match is right about when the false sense of hope starts to kick in.

    Loan deals

Not the individual player as such but if we end up a few places higher then we will have made more money from that. Rarely will those few places which we may or may not move up recoup the loan fee and wages of that player, so it's a no-go under the current regime. Honestly I'm not that bothered. Loan players are available for a reason and it's quite rare that they make an immediate impact. (Someone like Sturridge being a truly exceptional case.) And as previously mentioned they rob us of the opportunity to develop our own youth. Don't think someone like Macheda would be any better than Best or Ameobi.

Right, when the alternatives are a lobotomy or open-heart surgery, you'd take the root canal. I'm completely agreeing with Ronaldo. I feel weird.

    Sunderland...

We don't need to care about Sunderland's results this year in any case. It's not like they're in competition with us.
  11. Southampton have signed Lee Tadanari, the Korean-Japanese striker who scored the winning goal in the Asian Cup finals last year. Blood traitor
  12. The best manager gif is still that "Rafa Magic" one from a few years ago. http://animating.ru/signatures/data/media/3/Benitez_magic_hands.gif

    Alan Smith

I imagine this is what winning silverware feels like.
  14. True though, even if I did mean it but not quite to the level that got you chomping. You called Park Chu-Young shit, that would be like me making insinuations about the sexual orientation of your mother. Only in Korea. Probably only for me actually

Might give us a bit more movement in the final third like. Given that that's exactly what we're lacking on the wings it might be worth a shot. So far this guy has reminded me of Kevin Nolan more than anyone (That doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement for putting him on the wing... But, you get the idea)

  17. Simpson is in terrible, terrible form but I still think in the abstract he's a better RB option than Taylor.

Play him on the right? Worth a shot?
  19. R.Taylor shades it due to ability to stick in a cross and his set pieces. If I have to watch another of Cabaye's corners I may just cry I think I remember Ryan Taylor starting at RB against Man U at home during the relegation season. It's not a happy memory.
  20. I hate the "I can't be bothered with this argument anymore so I'll pretend I was on the wind up from the beginning. You're the fool for taking it seriously!" card.
  21. Thing is, if you asked anyone as recently as six months ago they probably would have answered in the exact opposite. Saylor was in the form of his life before his injury but up until then he's mostly shown to be about on par or even slightly below Williamson. Williamson now has a chance to prove that he can up his game as well.
  22. No need to argue. They'll just sell for 15m instead to ensure that none of us are happy
  23. Because he Park is Korean, and he hasn't dropped one of the form players in world football for him obviously, despite Park being seen as fairly shit by most Arsenal fans. Think I'd give up with football if we signed that abomination. Really? What are these judgements being based on? The 300 minutes competitive football in 4 relatively meaningless games he's been given in the past four months? His 0 Premiership appearances? His 7 goals in 5 games for the national team since joining Arsenal? Obviously I'm not advocating that he start ahead of RVP. Why is he not even on the bench of Chamakh, who supposedly has no future at Arsenal? Why is a geriatric Thierry Henry being loaned for two months so they can keep him off the bench while Chamakh is away at the ACON? Why has he not been given a single minute in a game that matters to prove that he's not terrible? And if he's so shit that Wenger can tell he's shit without even seeing him play, why go to the trouble of pulling him out of a hotel room in Lille and signing him for a good bit of money in the first place? Why? He obviously realised what a monumental fuck up he made, hence not playing him despite everything said above. He's that bad that they've had to go out and sign Henry which speaks volumes. He's not though. I'm biased, but I know that he's more than good enough to at least get a chance to prove that he can play. If there was no intention of letting him be anything other than emergency cover, then they should have not signed him as opposed to ruining a decent player's career. He's been given game time in the Champions League but proved he wasn't up to it. By that logic Coloccini should have never played for us again starting sometime around October 2008.
