  1. Redknapp going mental after the match
  2. Chelsea v. Spurs feels like it will be a decent match. Both sides are pretty screwed with a draw.
  3. God, how bad is Hamburg. That Guererro lad makes Shola look like CR7.
  4. Oh man. The fallout and drama if that happens. You'd think the FA would give them a small points deduction that kept them in the automatic promotion spots if only because they wouldn't want to deal with the ensuing shitstorm.
  5. It's true though, clubs are infomed of the presence of a scout if they're not just some s*** semi-pro side in a s*** league/nation. Ah....
  6. Based on this genius equation we'd have about zero wins this season. How many have we won without Nolan?
  7. His club have been very quick to rubbish it as complete nonsense. I sincerely doubt that Graham Carr was actually in Korea. Probably the hottest young Korean prospect out there right now but he's certainly not the finished product and isn't a prolific goalscorer by nature so certainly not what we need. Would be cheap I suppose.
  8. Don't think it's a ridiculous opinion tbf. We did beat them earlier in the season (albeit when AC was in black and white). They're not invincible and we're not s**** (except when we're facing s****, obviously). Not saying I'd put my house on us to get something, but it's not bonkers to believe we could get something. We've beat Arsenal at the Emirates, Chelsea at Stamford Bridge (with our reserve team), and pulled off the most ridiculous comeback in Premiership history just this season. If nothing else we should have learned to never, ever say that a result is nailed on.

    Sunderland...

You must have had a fit when you played in the Reds v Blues matches then...no wonder you were injured. Personally I absolutely despise the wearing of football shirts on non-matchdays, but that's probably because of where I live and the kind of shirts that I tend to see.
  10. Unless that position of strength translates into us being able to buy better players than most other teams it won't mean much really...except to the clubs bank. Theoretically if we're financially sound and have a better bank balance relative to other clubs we would be allowed to spend more. Unless we're in a European spot in the league we can spend what we want and have whatever debt or backers throwing billions at us that we want. I'd assume they'd (in theory) penalize clubs that broke the rules the next season if they made it into Europe, so that wouldn't be correct unless some club hatched a devious plan to stay out of Europe every year to evade UEFA regulations. Plus, if the clubs in Europe were adhering to this I'd assume there'd be some form of domestic pressure for all other clubs to as well.
  11. I'm confident that clubs will continue to completely ignore it and do whatever they want until UEFA actually put their foot down and ban somebody significant (i.e. not FC Random from Lichtenstein) from Europe. So basically forever then.

  13. Crumpy taking it to a whole new level again
  14. I can also go on record saying that we have much better Korean posters than redcafe does.
  15. Can hardly blame him for not wanting to hang out at redcafe.

    Pure Karma man, pure Karma.

    Arsene Wenger

He's brilliant and a genius, but at age 61 I think he's also turning into a stubborn old man who can't admit his mistakes.
  18. Surely this calls for a :wenger: icon
  19. Might want to send him on loan to a different Championship club. If he's actually any good we might not want him developing too much of an attachment to Brighton...
  20. So one person then? oldtype is great, man. I actually feel kinda bad about making these jokes given that I've technically never met someone from Sunderland
  21. The best part of this quote is that he doesn't realize why one team is good, and the other one struggled. Nah, the best part is that he thinks he plays 25 minutes a game.
