The weirdest thing about this saga is actually that it doesn't seem like any of the information being leaked is coming from Sesko's camp. It's almost like he doesn't particularly care.

Howe seems to have a type re: players who look like they should be a lot better than they are, but fall short due to mental/concentration issues. He thinks he can fix them.

For what it's worth, I think 90% of the time players would choose Man United over us because of the club's stature, even though we have CL football and they don't. But Sesko seems young enough and overconfident enough that he will be looking at two big money moves in his prime instead of just one. His next club is a stepping stone to him getting his big move to Real/Barcelona/PSG etc. in 2-3 years. From that perspective, the certainty of CL football next season to put yourself in the shop window matters a lot more than if you were looking for a place to stay at for the entirety of your prime. And we're clearly a far better environment for him to improve his game and be put in positions to succeed. I'm sure we'll have the "HERE WE GO" to Manchester United by the time I've finished typing this.
