closed my eyes when that deflection hit Beye because I was sure it was drifting in. Thank God.

COME ON!!!!!! ...please
-
actually feel like I'm going to throw up now. God the tension is literally unbearable. Up there with World Cup games. Random aside: Martins has a new haircut
-
They generally default to a 4-4-2 to be fair. I think it will be 4-3-3
-
I will cry tears of blood.
-
not bad. If we can't score with that we might as well start buying up those Championship patches now.
-
Jesus, I'm in serious brown pants mode here just waiting for the lineup. Feel like I've just gone all-in pre-flop and I'm waiting for the cards to fall.
-
that's not a bad lineup is it? I mean, assuming that it's true. EDIT: you could have added the "predicted" to the main post
-
fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck sweating bullets here. Can't we just get this over with already?
-
I think I dread seeing the team selection even more than the actual match.
-
My Lord, the "our players get massively bigged up when they haven't played for a while" effect must be fucking gigantic if it's even working for Ramage.
-
Ramage is back I know he's nowhere near fit but we could do with him at the minute. He's not the best defender in the world but he doesnt make many errors and I'd prefer him over Taylor at the moment. Him and faye would be unspectacular but solid and reliable. In fairness to you its being a long time since we have seen him play so we will let you off with that!I dont think I have ever watched a match that he played in where he didnt make a complete mug of himself! You're right, Ramage is consistent in that he won't have any complete shockers. All he'll do is deliver reliable preformances that range between poor and average.
-
Sports scientists and psychologists eh? too bad we don't have those anymore
-
He's called Bentley Bentley isn't that fast. Excellent player but not because he's got blinding pace. And Lennon really isn't an appreciably better player than Milner at the moment. Certainly has more potential though.
-
surely expecting people with jobs to make the trip on a monday night is just a bit impracitcal.
-
at least he didn't write it in the realistic summer targets thread

Maybe it coincides with newcastles worst season in the premiership. Sorry for speaking out against a club I have supported since 1970 But Im afraid our future in the top flight of football is ending this season. Mate, I'm as f****** scared as you are but if you're actually 40~50 years old you shouldn't be posting s*** like this that reflects upon you poorly. You've been through times far worse than this, so you should be one of the people showing some maturity in this situation. Instead, I think you've been ranting on about how we're a lock to "go down and never come back up" since the Arsenal matches if I recall correctly.

microbar's been working towards next year's "worst poster" award for about a month now.

I'd rather have a kid playing than Smith, Butt, Duff or Barton. This. That lot have neither skill, nor pace, nor fitness. I'm going to assume most of the youngsters have two of those characteristics, and you can bet they'd give it 100%. And if we play youngsters, it will no doubt help in recruiting better ones. Who wants to go to a team that never, ever plays its youth? Pim Verbeek (Australian NT manager) came out and said yesterday he wants Troisi to be involved this year in WC qualifying as he believes he is good enough. The current Aus NT would thump the current bunch of s**** running about in black and white. He advised Troisi to leave NUFC because while he should be getting a run here, he isn't. Verbeek is no bum and has a more successful record than most of our recent managerial incumbents. Verbeek isn't just going on reputation, he's had him out for a couple of training camps already. I understand putting the old crapsters out in the really hard games we've had recently. But in these games against opposition players of lower skill there is no reason not to go youth. Put simply, its fear and cowardice from Keegan if he persists with those 4. Every NUFC fan can see they aren't up to it, he can too, he needs to show some balls and drop them. Wouldn't necessarily trust Verbeek's word as gospel mind. Besides that, have you not considered that as s*** as Duff and Smith are, a random youngster shoved into that position would be infinitely more s***? The gap between reserve team and first team football is light years, which is why sane managers such as Keegan don't throw a kid into the deep end and expect them to preform. It's far more likely that a youngster will simply crumble under the pressure and pace than play better than 6~7 year Premiership veterans, no matter how s*** they might be. Our reserve team drew with Whitely Bay ffs, you expect the likes of Lua Lua and Troisi to make magic against Birmingham City? It'll just be Matty Pattison all over again (and from what I can tell, he's far better than either of those two seeing as how he's doing decently in the Championship. I could maybe see playing Carroll ahead of Smith, although even that's a stretch. The others shouldn't be starting, or playing at all for that matter, until we're either surely up or surely down. People need to recognize that fielding a team that's made up of about 50% reserves players in the midst of a relegation battle is JUST ABOUT THE WORST IDEA EVER.

Seconded. And people really shouldn't use words that they have no idea how to spell.

I am positve that Drogba is sending replica shirts to kids in civil war torn Ivory Coast. Drogba has used his publicity at Chelsea to become a peace broker of sorts. He was successful in getting international games staged in the Rebel capital and that went a long way to opening up a way to peace. It was a funny article but a bit mischievous indeed, Drogba does a ridiculous amount for kids in the Ivory Coast f****** pricks who write s*** like this. It's clear Drogba has never given a rat's arse about his popularity with the Chelsea fans. Anyone remember him squaring up to that prick after his goal against Arsenal in 05-06 To be fair, the article does point out that if all he wanted to do was send shirts home, he could ask the club and get them for free.

Where's this from?

Would be pretty surprised if he played for us again
