The SPL gets zero international TV coverage (sans a couple CL group games every year, perhaps) while the BPL is watched by billions across the world every weekend. Whatever value the "Scottish diaspora" might have is dwarfed by the media exposure Sportsdirect gets from advertising in a PL stadium. This is especially true given that actual Rangers fans would end up hating sportsdirect as much as we do.
