  1. They wont even countenance breaking PSR rules but you think they'd happily risk eufa punishment?
  2. We wont even use the money man. It will be another line spun about how we are hamstrung.
  3. If he goes there its because he will be using it as a back door to getting the move that he really wants...to the dippers & co. 6 months to a year in Saudi, making a fortune, then kicking up a fuss and demanding to leave. Liverpool/Arsenal/Chelsea then pick him up for a pittance.
  4. Disagree with that mind, and I'd bet that most Man U fans do too. Cole was a massive success for them after a sticky first 5 months. I was gutted he left and to this day think he was underrated as a player.
  5. They are still Man Utd. If he wanted out of here he'd jump at the chance of managing them. For a start he wouldn't have to deal with the frustration of not being able to meet player wage demands. And sooner or later they will get their shit together.
  6. The success Cole had at Man Utd is a glaring example though of why we should be doing everything we can to keep Isak. History cannot be allowed to repeat itself yet again.
  7. We also sold him because the manager wanted to. The board at that time did not want to sell. The Cole sale has no similarity to the departures of Waddle, Beardsley, Gascoigne & Carrol whatsoever. Except for the pain it caused the support, of course.
  8. The seeds will have been planted in his head this summer, for a potential exit at some point in the not too distant future. If we don't get our shit together I'm convinced he will be Man Utd's next manager.
  9. The thing that speaks to me about that Hope article is that the situation seems salvageable IMO. I wonder if we are frantically trying to undo all of the damage caused by Mitchell?
  10. This is what should happen. And also, exactly what will not happen. Unfortunately we appear to be completely clueless when it comes to handling transfers.
  11. This debacle has got to be the biggest wake up call for them. I imagine up to now they've thought that running a high profile PL club is a piece of piss, when in actual fact the performance of the manager has been papering over the cracks for at least a year. If they don't get their act together the next shit storm to deal with will be the pending departure of Eddie Howe. And that will make the current storm look like a stiff breeze.
  12. It's wild how people are in denial about the fact he is clearly off to the dippers. Clench your teeth and get ready for the pain of it.
  13. He’s very obviously lining up a move to Liverpool. The “exploring options” bullshit is just to deflect any idea that he has been tapped up.
  14. If we had any balls we’d definitely be telling him he needs to stay for another 12 months.
  15. If we've only offered him £200k I can see why he has turned it down. It really should have been close to £250k.
  16. He wasn't worthy of a new contract last summer but after the season he has just had, amid all of the transfer speculation, the first thing that should have happened when the last ball was kicked in May was a new contract being offered to him. By not doing so they've allowed him to be unsettled and the rest is now history. The club are being given some savage lessons in the cut-throat world of football right now.

After the way this shit show of a summer has gone, it's nailed on that these cunts will be above us in the league after the first two games of the season. RTG will be combusting with joy.
  18. If he is for sale them we definitely need to start an auction process. I dont see him going anywhere other than the scouse though. Galling.
