That is absolutely fucking disgusting. There is not a chance that the Gallowgate could be extended with those buildings in such close proximity, and especially not an extension of Level 7. This has got to be fucking stopped man. It's even more important than getting Ashley out.

They have been quite warm towards us on this thread https://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=282654.13280 but the friendship appears to be over after today. Rafa is too good for us now apparently.

First thing I would do if I had gazillions to buy NUFC would be to permanently ban the Chronicle from the club. Would love to see the shock on their faces. They have let this city down over the last 12 years on an unprecendented level by letting the fat cunt run amok. And the City Council are no better so I'd be banning those fuckers too.

Would be a complete waste of anyone's time, unfortunately. It's going to happen and nothing will be done to stop it. It's a new stadium or bust going forward if NUFC want to expand. Ashley has won, we are f*cked and it has all happened with barely a whimper of complaint from anyone within the city. Geordie pride eh? This where the likes of the Magpie Group should have been directing their energy, instead of pointless chants outside of SJP & Sports Direct on Northumberland Street. Days to go until Rafa's probable last ever home game and not a peep out of them for months. They have shown themselves to be utterly inept at effecting any kind of change. Out of interest what did you offer up in the way of forcing change? Gave up my season ticket, will not set foot in SJP till Ashley has gone. Absolutely refused to buy anything from SD. Attended all Magpie Group meetings & events. Phoned radio phone-ins. Had numerous arguments with friends & family to try to convince them to boycott matches. Enlightened them on the scandal of how Ashley is quietly asset stripping us and how they are actively supporting it by continuing to turn up at SJP and renewing their season tickets. Any ideas of what else I could have done?

Ross has spent 76% of the transfer budget of the entire division. For us to have done the same in that season that we (according to them) bought the league with the biggest transfer spend ever in the Championship (not true) we'd have had to spend over £400m that season. He's failing spectacularly. Ok, when you put it like that. However... They are a club that sacks a manager at least once a season. Maybe it's time to stick with one, despite the mistakes he has made? They have still only lost twice all season, after all.
-
They have almost to a man turned on Ross now. Thing is though, is it justified? Trying to keep a neutral stance here, looking in on them from the outside Ross seems to have done a good job in arresting a severe downward spiral. It might take them more than one season to fully reverse their decline but their baying mob are having non of it. In their eyes they think they are far to big to have to suffer more than one season in that league and this campaign should have been a stroll in the park. And they have the nerve to say we are deluded.....

The meltdown currently occuring on RTG is glorious.

Did they even advertise this meeting? Didnt see anything on their website and I didnt receive any email from them giving notice of the meeting. Only through Twitter, and even then it wasn't getting much traction in the form of RTs or replies. Like neesy's said they've fucked themselves. The tirade they threw at the Chronicle was anguish inducing plus the fact that Greg and Heron have left speaks volumes of where it's at atm. What "tirade" is this that you speak of? If they had a pop at the Chronicle then it was long overdue as those spineless cowards should have been held accountable a long time ago.

One man keeping an entire football club pinned together.

Copied the following post from toontastic and it sums the situation up perfectly for me. For those of us who were around following NUFC in the 70s, 80s and 90s this current situation has officially killed off the NUFC we grew up with and its not coming back either. I simply dont identify with the people who go to SJP anymore. Anyway, onto that copied post..... I don’t think this is a knee jerk to a poor result at home to a weak side but I feel like Ashley has finally pushed firmly down on the pillow and suffocated this club this season after a decade of holding it just above the club’s nose. The club has been utterly destroyed, we were a great football club, not necessarily on the pitch or in terms of trophies but we were a proper football club and there was a great connection between club and fan base even in the times we struggled which imo is rare in the modern game. Football is the highlight of many people’s weeks, I’m not ashamed to admit it can often be the highlight of mine. He’s ripped that from us, I can no longer say it can ever be that to me we’re tragic, utterly tragic. For 10 years we’ve depended on some rough diamond we picked up for cheap turning into a player, then when they do we’ve essentially depended on them to carry the whole team as opposed to building anything around them. I don’t even enjoy watching us anymore, watching players as devoid of any talent such as Joselu plod around the pitch just isn’t football. There’s no passion surrounding the club, no buzz, no excitement, and there hasn’t been since the first year he bought us, before he decided to drive the club into its first calamities by attempting to disgrace club legends. I used to love watching football, but honestly my whole passion for it has subsided. I don’t even bother watching Champions League games or keeping track of most scores. I quite regularly have no idea of the placing of other PL sides, as what’s the point? We’re going to be struggling to keep our heads above water like the little, irrelevant, tin pot club we have become. My whole feeling was summed up this week, I was listening to a podcast and when they were discussing Man Utds comeback win against us one of the pundits said “yeah but I mean it was only Newcastle” it wasn’t an attempted dig, it was just the truth and I took no offense or exception to it, the bloke was spot on. That’s exactly what we are, a club that every team in the league will see as a winnable game. If you told me all this 10 years ago I’d feel sick to my stomach but now I just don’t care, he’s sucked any soul or passion out of Newcastle United Football Club. What is this all for? What on Earth is the purpose? If it was money he could quite easily make far more elsewhere, if it was advertising he could have spent all he’s invested on far higher profile advertising. I think overall it’s been negative to his company, clearly his image, and obviously the football club. It’ll be a shame to see Rafa Benitez go, his reign has once and for all proven Ashley will never care about the club, if ever he was going to invest it would be when he had a world class manager at the helm. Instead yet another legend of football has been embarrassed, degraded, and pushed out in an insulting and disgraceful way. That’s Newcastle United.

We need a minimum of 9 points return from the next 5 games. And thats just to give some hope that we aren't going to go down with a whimper.
-
He had two private security men and a dozen police officers with him to walk two yards man...........he's had far less protection around him at games recently. Aye, I guess I have watched too many politicians getting pelted without any consequences. Ashley would definitely press charges, the soft cunt.
-
He definitely looks nervous around crowds of people he doesn't know or trust. Thinking back now when I saw him in Shearers bar, surrounded by his muscle, on the night when he brought KK back to the club he had a shifty look about him even then. I dismissed it at the time as I was on such a high at having Keegan back but the signs were there. Wouldn't be surprised if he secretly suffers from social anxiety. Bullied at school and now taking it out on the world. Cunt.
-
He should have been pelted with eggs when he came out of that restaurant on Wednesday. An opportunity missed as that is the last time he will allow himself to be in such close proximity to the "proles" of Newcastle without proper protection.

I was there tonight. At 6pm there was virtually nobody in the place so was worried that the turnout would be pitiful. Thankfully the room filled out pretty much to seating capacity and there looked to be around 150 people there once it got going. Chi Onwurah and Ian Mearns spoke well but I was particularly impressed with Kevin Miles, a bloke I will gladly admit to not being a fan of in the past. He was excellent here though and made some very good points. As Mearns pointed out, this is probably going to be a very long and hard slog to get this parasite out. But the campaign has to grow and tackling the apathy amongst the masses is going to be the greatest challenge of all. Wasn't sure what to make of the guy with his £50m buy-in scheme. He seemed genuine enough but there was some rolling of eyes in the crowd where I was.

It is like. I wanted the fuckers in the wilderness for the next 20 years.

Sickening news. Today is a good day for them, no point pretending otherwise. They will piss league 1 too. In fact, if they had just kept Grabban and bought a half decent keeper they would have stayed up this season. And these fuckers think they are unlucky? In the aame position Ashley would have wound us up.
-
Imagine if Rafa walks in the summer and these two c*nts end up back at NUFC. With Ashley still as owner it is entirely possible too.
-
That’s a problem that can be dealt with later if needed be. Like how? This is the worst part of the whole sorry saga for me. No matter who the next owner is, our future development as a club has been massively curtailed by this parasite. It's f*cking shameful how he has been allowed to develop this land to the detriment of the club. Shameful. At the moment there is no activity on the site and even though it has been approved it has only been done so on the on condition that an agreement with Nexus is made, which so far hasn’t happened. If Ashley’s intent to sell the club is real and he’s prepared to offer that bit of land to the new owners in a separate purchase then he’s not going to develop it any time soon. If PCP are struggling/reluctant to stump up £300m with no clauses I'd say the chances of them forking out another £60m for the land are pretty slim. And, to be honest, if they dont have plans to expand the stadium that is another potential red flag with this lot.

He is building student flats on it that will prevent Level 7 being extended to the Gallowgate End. And our inept City Council are allowing him to do it. Thanks for this btw. I’m probably getting a bit naive these days but I’m start to realise this isn’t about the football with these people. He would sell off SJP if he could get away with it. Anyway, the plans can be seen here... https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/business/business-news/st-james-park-development-plans-10164835
