Neither of those are coming in for him. This is the biggest club he will ever manage. I was worried about Man U would come sniffing at one point but I think we are starting to see Eddie hitting his ceiling now tbh. Hate to say it but I think Simon Jordan is probably right about him. He is struggling to deliver when the expectations are sky high, which they always will be at an elite club, or a club that wants to be elite. His teams are all about workrate, motivation and running and less about creativity and technical ability, and when the players dont produce that we see days like today.

Just don't see him uprooting himself to go there, especially after what happened with Isak. He would not want to be tarnished in the same vein as The Rat.

That's one club I don't think Eddie would be interested in. And they wouldn't come in for him either.

Slot is in the same boat as Amorim now, whereby we need him to stay for them to remain as underperformers. I think he's on borrowed time unfortunately though. Iraola is going to end up at one of the big clubs soon and I really hope its not these fuckers.

He was fighting a losing battle since there was a tidal wave of animosity towards the club at that time after we had sold Gazza that summer and the Sack The Board campaign really got going. That 87/88 season was one of my most memorable though, we really played some great stuff and obviously Gazza was right at the centre of it all. RIP Willie, a true NUFC legend.

Each to their own but I think it would be crap. Spurs' much-vaunted kop end is absolutely shit, for instance. The days of filling a huge kop end with 20k+ radgies are over.

I still think that most of those who make an atmosphere simply dont bother to even try to get get tickets now, due to the shitty ballot. A 75k stadium with tickets that are easier to get might encourage them more.

Which is why the old style of a single tier, giant kop end would never work for us. We aren't the same kind of fanbase as Dortmund.

But it goes to show that any new NUFC stadium absolutely MUST be designed not only with acoustics as a priority, but also carefully thought out singing sections. I really don't want to see a Dortmund-style black & white wall at any new stadium either. I think 70s-style kop ends don't work, especially with how fanbases are today, and the views right near the back would be bloody awful too. We are trying to get away from that problem with Level 7.

Ordinarily I'd agree, but for a long time they have been particularly savage on there, not only about NUFC but our city in general. They are a nasty bunch.
