  1. Blyth Spartans are said to have registered their interest in want-away Newcastle winger Charles N'Zogbia. SSN
  2. surely pursuing Donadel makes more sense, hes cheaper, still decent and we'd save money too. Then again, we know nowt about whats going on behind the scenes..
  3. Scoring close to 10 goal a season back then, would have been delighted to get a midfielder who was up to that much in the scoring stakes. Done nothing this season. Would be interesting to know why Bolton are allowing him to leave so easily? He's 26, I'm certain he could rekindle the form of 03 to 06. At Newcastle? Unlikely. have faith! bolton are a nothing club, always going nowhere. At least here its more exciting, for good or bad. We have an amazing stadium and training ground, these kind of things can put a spring in your step, plus I'm sure he'll sample some of the bigg market too

  5. born onto a pile of stotties on the tyne bridge, yea
  6. Hope so, surely if its before noon then he can play in the derby? I'm unsure on how player registration works..
  7. Rot in the reserves you arogant twat, you won't forget these outbursts!
  8. hey! peter was a canny striker at rangers, I think he could snatch a few goals for us hopefully. Also, carrol has done alright too, although we all know relying on these 2 is pretty daft in the situation we're in... ...then again, we could always........UNLEASH RANGER!!
  9. hope they're on the phones all weekend talking to messi, kaka, ramage, etc http://i39.tinypic.com/2yua637.jpg
  10. from the chron: The former Liverpool trainee and Bolton skipper is set to undergo a medical on Tyneside tomorrow morning ahead of a £4.5m deal.
  11. The Guardian says the fee is around £4m http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/jan/29/kevin-nolan-premierleague-newcastle-united-bolton-wanderers
  12. At 26 hes at a good age too, hope he signs we prolly need to get in a striker too, although I may be asking too much here...saviola on loan?
  13. Yep, I think we've all had plenty to moan and cry about this season We all know the reasons, the causes and the mistakes. Time to put all that to one side and be positive about our chances of staying in this division. We may not be used to it but we're not going down without a fucking fight! Support the whole club now, more than ever before....none us want to be relegated, hell no!
  14. Dunno about sticking the ball in the net mind. Hasnt he only scored one the whole season? still more than smith, butt and geremi combined exactly, beggars can't be choosers
  15. Nail on head. Yeah, matches my thoughts on the situation. If we were mid-table then Veloso would be decent but we need scrappers right now, as thats what we're in. Hope ebondo joins too, plus as many other people as humanly possible - all hands on deck.
  16. hes not signed yet lads, remember, things rarely go smoothly with the toon!
  17. I like your thinking, its the in thing to do . haha yeah, all about the bottom 4 nowadays, the top is so yesterday, surely its a privilege to get into the championship...i mean, it has the word Champion in it! plus, the top bores me to tears..
  18. We're running out of time plus we're not exactly very attractive right now. I've always liked him, plus we don't have the funds to to splash 10m+ on veloso, etc right now. I'd be happy with this transfer, although we still need more!
