I remember one Henry goal when Barthez essentially walked to the back of the net to retrieve the ball as soon as Henry struck it. Remy looks fantastic, but he has a long way to go to reach Henry's levels.

His first tenure gave me the best years of my sport spectator life. I want enthusiasm and entertainment from a football club. I am surrounded by enough miserable cunts in my daily life that I would like football to be a proper escape. Keegan did that in spades, whereas the current cunt in charge is about as optimistic as a man employed to throw plague victims in a trench. Pardew is pall-incarnate and it saddens me to be reminded of the sheer joy that Keegan brought to the club.

I grew up worshipping Kevin Keegan. Was easily one of my favorite players. And when he went to manage Newcastle, there was really no question in my mind which club I was going to support. Witnessing those Keegan years, how the hell could I support anybody else now? And apparently, I like also-rans.
