30 € on Arsenal (live bet)

Was it yourself David that dabbles in a little betting on cycling? I seem to remember someone doing some throughout Le Tour last year. If so, looked at the Giro much? Yes it was me. Had some money on Radioshack to win the stage yesterday and came close. Will wait the first few stages and bet on my GC favourites then. On the flat stages the odds for Cav won't be accatable so I will leave it most of the time. Giro seems to be quite unpredictable in general which is why I'll wait till the Tour for the big bets (that and because there's still football on). Edit: For today btw, I've got little money on Petacchi to win the stage. Odds are good.

Yep. Just remember that Smith would have been his replacement - and even he would have been out for half of the season. But same can be said about the likes of Coloccini, Simpson (just think about Perch), Enrique, Jonas, Barton and Nolan. All those played massive parts this season and if we would have missed some of them for a big part of the season we could have been in huge trouble.

Based on this season alone, he's a good PL striker. There's no real arguement against the lad. I know. But this season saw him play about 10 times. It's not possible to really rate him after that number of games. But he should stay here, be our current Nr. 1 striker if fit and should definitely play a part next season.

Of course. Added to that, Inter did win the league before Mourinho arrived, too. My point about the transfer window still stands imo. He needs to build 'his own Madrid' to be successfull.

Nolan not as clinical as he's normally today.

Mourinho will win them the league next season if he can sort out the team in the summer. I think they'll also do better in the CL next season. Fancy a wager on that? There's no chance he'll ever win La Liga at Madrid. It depends on the transfer window. Look at his time at Inter. Before his second season he bought Lucio, Sneijder and Eto'o - three absolute key players. If he gets some players like that and gets rid of some players he doesn't need he'll win the treble with Real like he did with Inter. Saying that, he'll only do it with the same kind of Inter-football.
