From where is that?

No way, Parker was good but Tiote's been phenomenal. Agree about not judging on just one season though. Remember, Parker was playing in a weaker team than Tiote. We didn't have players like Jonas, Enrique, Simpson or Barton on the wings waiting for the ball. We had the likes of Carr and Duff.
-
I loved Parker when he was here but Tiote is a better player. Saying that, Parker in his first season here was probably just as good. We'll see how Tiote does next season.
-
Think with Barton back we'll get a win. Without him no chance, though as we won't have anyone to fill in at right wing (with Guthrie still out as well). 3-2 with Best, Nolan and Barton scoring.
-
Replacing players like Nolan and/or Barton won't help even if the replacements would be slightly better quality. The character of those two (amonng others) is what makes us so strong this season.

Don't know if they're all 'epic' - but I like them and thought they're worth posting. http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/7748/returnv.jpg http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/5796/markviduka743846.jpg http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/2378/pressconference11.jpg http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/3183/31210400.jpg http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/2716/chcc.jpg http://img607.imageshack.us/img607/7280/groupoflads1.jpg

Dortmund sometimes remind me of Man Utd (in top form) with their fast football up front. Great to watch.
-
Hope he'll be back for Everton. We really really need him. Loaning out Routledge was never going to be a great idea.
-
His talk of signing League 1 players still scares the hell out of me though. That's why I said 'almost completely'. I'll rate him after the transfer window.
-
I also think Pardew has done well and he has almost completely convinced me that he'll be a good manager for us in the next years. But, I suppose he's been really lucky with the 'group of lads' he's got here. They seem to be able to manage themselves sometimes really.

Enrique has the ability to see something, though.
-
First game against WBA he was decent. In the CCC he did well after coming on as a sub with Pancrate and getting a goal sometimes. He is crap, him, Perch, Lovenkrands and Smith all need to be either executed or sold in the summer. Of course he is. Was just joking.

He wasn't on the bench. He was injured.
-
That's 2 points dropped - but not as much as it was against Sunderland and Spurs (conceding in the last few mins in each of those games). With 10 men it's ok to draw.
-
Selling him in the summer will do me.

Perch is a better right back than Raylor, put it that way. And Perch only got a yellow each time he started this season. Raylor got sent off each time he was in the starting XI.
-
And probably Gosling.
-
Bloody hell we're screwed if any of our Midfielders get injured. I think Perch and Raylor are considered the 'midfielders' of that bench. That doesn't change the situation, though.

Europe: would you take, er, 5th place right now?
David28 replied to kirkwdavis2001's topic in Football
Our opponents in Europe till the end of the year should be beatable with a mix of our 1st and 2nd team tbh. And come January we will know where we are and on what to concentrate - staying in the PL and drop out of the Europa league or push for Europa league and taking the league a bit more easy at times. -
8 € on Dortmund (dnb), us, Man Utd, Real Madrid. Edit: 42 € on us/Man Utd double.
