If you look at the players we've flogged over the last few years, milner was absolute gash for two seasons before he was sold, given was desperate to get away, and the rest were fleeing what they seen as a sinking ship. Probably true. But I think all in all come the end of the season it wouldn't have made a big difference if Harper or Krul played for the majority of the season. Next season though, I fully expect Krul to be the better goalkeeper because the experience he's earning right now.
